“We’re going to be making some Standard balance adjustments soon. Next patch will likely be more nerf focused than the previous one and might include some neutral cards. We’ll be locking in our changes this Friday, and the patch will go live ~1 week after that.”
Theotar: not sure if it’s gona be a boring mana up or some type of change e.g. removing discover from one/both ends.
Sire Denathrius: start at 0 damage
Nightcloack Sanctum: 2 uses
Wildpaw Gnoll: stop it working with Maestra
Edwin: Back to 4
Guff: Too many ways to hit it, but expect 1/multiple of them.
Dawngrasp: HK increases hero power by 1 instead of 2.
Herald of Nature: decrease buff/increase mana
Balinda: 7 mana? The numbers for keeping this in the mulligan for a 6 drop is pretty crazy.
Quest Hunter? Actual tricky one as everything apart from the quest itself feels fair.
Then if you want to do some preemptive ones i.e. the decks that will obviously be too good once others are hit:
Clownfish to stop what would probably be a Shaman heavy meta.
Harpoon Gun, as beast hunter will be up there yet again.
One of the busted Implock cards.
Druids: have too many mana crystals and too much armor, even if you nerf Gulf to 13 max mana… it is still too many in the present state… you should change it to completely different which is not involving max mana to be fair… or increase the mana cost of a lot of Druid cards…
Priests: Still have too many ways to buy time for the ultimate shard crap which was also a bad idea in the first place… and now they even can steal cards from the enemy… What was in your head going when you figured this out?! :\
Hunter: have too many ways to get 2-3 of the same deadly Beasts and use them up for low mana… or too many traps recycle and even the wild seeds now… That is too much…
Warlock: Has too many curse stuff and fatigue damage directly, and even recycling… thats too much together with Immolate and other card “burners”.
Maybe you should plan the game more careful and use more time to do it… instead of releasing mini sets and expansions every 2-3 month to be able get money, money, money for it… If you would plan the new expansion longer… then you would have time to think over it better and make a fair balance.
For example, put back Platebreaker into the standard because it is insane who much armor enemies can get unavoidably.
