Good job driving players away. With the current expansion I changed into a F2P guy because what you have done with the game, now I can become do-not-play-at-all guy.

That makes more-of-us. lol

Just to play devil’s advocate here, weekly quests do not really feel weekly if you can complete them in one day.

I’m quite happy with my decision to stop buying both prepurchase bundles a while ago, and seeing how extremely predatory HS has become I completely stopped just before this last expansion. Damn this would’ve made me hate myself. Let “Blizzard” games be for those with no life.

The problem is that most people that i know that play HS they do in 30-45 min free time (between work shifts, launch time…) and you can hardly complete quests if you are playing about 5 hours week with the changes (it was already hard before the changes), specially if you play BGs (one game on 4th place still gets easily 30 minutes and it’s the minimum to count the game as a win).
I feel like it’s a terrible change and i’m not sure what is the target for this nerfs to weekly quests.

I just unninstalled was buying every expansion in past 2 years but im not interested in playing a second job to get rewards. Now i just quit. You will never see me again good luck with this clown fiesta. I wont even bother finishing my battle pass.

I’ve been mulling it over if I should post or not, but seeing as how playing this game has been almost like a relationship (more and more abusive as of late), I think it warrants at least “a heads up”.

I’ve basically been playing this game since Beta and buying the biggest (Mega) Bundles available since maybe the 2nd or 3rd expansion because I wanted to support the development of the game, so I’ve basically “been very serious” with this game for 10 years.
I’ve been here in the crappy meta, the underwhelming expansions, the more and more punishing changes to the Quests/Tavern Pass and so on, so I’ve been very dedicated to “the cause” for quite some time, but this is where things end.

I’m not turning HS into a 2nd job, Weekly and Daily quests are supposed to give me a reason to log in and have fun on my own terms, not log in to put in my regular shift so that I can earn a “bare minimum pay check” (if I wanna reroll for crappy rewards just so that I can finish the bloody things) at the end of the week.

Not sure if this forum is monitored or if anyone even cares enough to inform upper management, but if your whole strategy was to transition the game and sunset it, then congrats, you’ve made the right move. But if you wanted more player engagement… I really doubt little Timmy will be spending 80-160 Euros of mommy and daddy’s money every 3 months, without getting put up for adoption… because unless HS is your main game, little Timmy will be your demographic because he’s the only one with an overabundace of time. Good luck getting any money out of his parents long term.

Man, exactly my thoughts! I have been a player since Frozen Throne, but I think this the time to get of the train. I simply cannot keep up with the quests. And I am past giving Blizzard money for this game.

I really don’t think the new quests are a big deal. So you’ll complete them in 2-3 days instead of one. They’re called weekly for a reason. If Hearthstone is not your main game, their completion may take you a week, just in time for the shift change.

Let’s see. I’ve played today for something like an hour in the morning and some more on my lunch break, I’m already at 50% completion with two of them. That’s like 100 minutes of total playtime.

Treat Ranked Play as a Monthly Quest if you will, and see how much time it takes you to reach your highest rank. It doesn’t take a day. But it doesn’t take a month either.
