This game is getting completely out of hand. What is the point of a 30 card limit when almost every deck i play against goes far beyond that. Why have that limit it just seems pointless ?
Every deck again , is just full of leech , death rattle and battle cry cards.
There’s need to be a cap put in place for this. It’s ruining the game beyond anything. Every priests deck it’s a death rattle revive comp. Every lock deck it’s a discard battle cry deck . Not to mention the legendaries that allows them to be all triggered or re summoned.
Same with spells there needs to be a cap or spell limit.
When i play against a mage now i have to go okay , so i’m playing against a mage , he /she got 15 one shot spells. aka spells that will instantly kill a minion So hmm which cards to sacrifice before i can do anything. Rince and repeat. Why have normal mob cards in the game anymore ? Pack fillers ?
There needs to be a tax , like minimum 4 death rattle cards , 4 battle cries , 8 spell or something. 2 legendaries only. It’s getting rediculous , it’s just ruining the fun. i remember this game when it first out you know having a spell was special, now my mage has 18/30 spells in my deck. It’s boring and i want some fun in the game again. Make the player choose wisely due to this limit , instead of abusing it.
I am playing pretty much meta decks and i feel this game shouldn’t have metas. I want that freedom to pick and choose my own decks again.
No. We don’t want pointless and unfun deck building restrictions just for the sake of having them. Least of all because -you- lost to decks playing those cards.
But you know what we do need? The dislike button from the old forums. So we can downvote terrible suggestions such as yours to oblivion.
Well, sorry to tell you this but no matter what card restrictions and “taxes” the game has, there will always, I repeat; ALWAYS, be a meta of some sort.
Deal with it.
You do have that freedom. Or is there someone forcing you to play decks you don’t want by pointing a gun at you?
Play what you want! That’s what I do. I never play decks I find boring. No matter how strong they’re. Just don’t expect your homebrewed decks to beat the strongest meta decks consistently and win most of the time.
Yes. You’re wrong. I only play decks I find fun or interesting.
The great majority of Hearthstone playerbase. Because I can guarantee you that if you went to more active US forums and posted this exact same topic, they would tell you basically the same things I did that how terrible your idea is.
And if the downvote button was still around your post would be downvoted to hell.
Don’t give me that bullcrap. You want to win? Play the strongest meta decks. You want to have fun? Play decks you enjoy the most. But you can’t always have both. This game won’t be centered around only your fun. Sorry to break this to you but that’s the reality.
Wrong! I got to rank 6 with Dragon Priest deck last month.
Wrong! The majority of Warlock decks I see on the ladder at the minute are Even Warlock. There has also been a resurgence of Cubelock recently too.
Wrong! The majority of Mage decks on the ladder at the minute are Odd Mage which, at most, usually contain 4-6 damaging spells and a few secrets.
You seem to not understand what the term ‘meta’ actually means. Are you suggesting that the game should never change and evolve and just remain constant and stagnant just so that you can play it how you want?
