I disagree with your frustration as well just because frustration wont get you anywhere in the long run (in generell speaking)
Also i cant completely agree nor disagree sinply we have different goals in this game. I reached rank 4 in december and i am pretty proud because im not a competitive player, nor am i aiming for legend to begin with
But if you say, what i said is exactly your point, why not making peace with your mistake of paying them 70 euro, move on and maybe change games.
There are plenty of great games which are completly for free (well not card games but still) and competitive
Play a moba, all of them are for free as nd really fun

So ask yourself: What is my goal playing Hearthstone? What do I want from it? Do I enjoy this game? How much time, effort and money do I want to spend on a game?
Think about it, and perhaps read back your comments and others’

From my experience, the higher up the ranks you are, the more resources you naturally have because you play more games + get the golden epic each month, so bit weird to imply the opposite.

haha I didn’t realize it back when he was assuming that I was rank 10 too. it’s been so long since we had the good old “your rank is lower than mine, so your statement is wrong”. makes me feel so nostalgic

Last f2p guy i saw (didnt read much into it for dome time i admit) didnt dpend a single dime on anything and got from 20 to legend with zoolock

I have a theory.
I think hearthstone and football have something in common. they’re both games and thus can be entertaining and can be a profession.
but for some, it can be a surface for projecting their feelings onto, in part to make up for unrelated things.
in football you feel good if the team that you’re emotionally invested in wins and if it doesn’t you can boo your own players or berate other fans/clubs/organizations to blow off steam.
in hs you can feel good about yourself if you reach legend and look down on others that can’t. if you lose, you can BM your opponents, uncover conspiracies or just lash out against the evil money making machine.
this is not to say that hs doesn’t have any flaws. it has a lot in my opinion, but I don’t think it matters. if it would, complaints wouldn’t be as resistant against reasoning, logic and maths as they are. instead it’s important to have an object to project something onto and everything that doesn’t agree, just gets in the way.
this is also not to say that every complaint/critique is of the above nature. but I think it applies relatively often on these forums.

I can never understand players who dislike a companies actions, yet continue to post on their forums and play their games.

isnt that old story we all know Blizz actions r greedy as f…k and this is suposed to be free to play yet we all buy decks and adventures so stop complaning and just delete the game and u will be happy
