It seems this just happens every month and it’s incredibly frustrating.
That used to be me. I had many seasons stuck at Diamond 5 on new system and rank 5 on the old system.
The problem I had was that I only specialised in Mage. I play all the other classes but I want that good with them. I slowly started to get a better understanding of the decks and if you can play them you can understand how to beat them.
Then I found control priest and that got me all the way.
This season I did it with No Minion Mage which I’m really happy about, I did need a hand from HL Hunter as at rank I took a 5 straight loss battering. I used Hunter to get back to D1(1*) switched back to Mage and won 3 in a row to hit legend.
My mistake was siting with the same deck for so long. Understandably you may not be able to experiment with different decks due to the cost of the game but that’s my advice, try some different decks.
If all else fails, there is always Demon Hunter to try and use, a lot of people use that deck to climb.
You need to get a deck with a win rate of at least 60% and just keep plugging away and it will come good. When I hit legend with mage it was at a 65% win rate so it was running really well.

Standard, so it’s a different game to your experience. Mage probably doesn’t fair well in wild.
