how many of you have this problem , never seeing the minnion type your seeking, the spells to find them are also amazingly MIA , while some other player seems to speed level up to 6 while never losing a game ??? , well to the DEVS i say this if you cant balance the game and make it an even contest for all , do this for the love of god , much the way that the spell works discover a minnion of your most common type , triples should work the same way , at least that way you have a chance at placing in the top 4 on a regular basis
You are correct.
There are many algorithms at work and luck plays a big part.
If you select a Quilboar hero, suddenly you get no Quilboars. You can refresh as much as you want you might get one on turn 12. This is a setting implemented by Blizzard.
Then, the whole lobby might be T3 on turn 6, but one player is already T6 and has 3 Golden T6 minions and GG, game over.
This is luck. This all leads to an unbalanced game where you hope to be lucky.
I noticed this phenomenon quite often and i always said to myself “This guy can not be that lucky … where, how, when … you just can not be that lucky and get the minions you have…!”
I don’t care anymore, I play less and less…
It happens every BG game.
I played a game recently where I sat for hours trying to figure out how a player had the T6 bat so early in the game. His hero was not a factor, his quest was not a factor.
He was T3 with a T6 minion. To this day I still can’t figure it out. I thought it may be the minion who upgrades another minion, but the odds are so low it cannot be a factor.
Blizz must bring in game recordings so that we see exactly how these players do these things.
