What the point of watching 11 more spell animations when 1 hero already dead. So bad programming
True pretty sure yogg would stop
There is at least a theoretic possibility that one of the later spells does something that fixes the “mortally wounded” condition.
While very rare (but not impossible) for a hero, there are countless interactions of multiple spells where one spell brings a minion to 0 health, and then a later spell restores health to it. If those spells are all cast as part of the same event, then the minion survives this. That has often been criticized, but I believe it has been done on purpose, to get as close as possible to the idea that all those spells are cast “at once”.
The same can happen with Rommath bringing a hero to zero and then restoring health to it. And hence, there is no death processing until after Rommath has casted all its spells.
I don’t think rommath can kill a hero and then heal it back to life
Have you got any source for that… Because you even hear the hero death noise. And yet the spells keeps coming
It can happen that you’ll be healed back to life, but then you probably won’t hear the hero’s death noise. Because everything is happening at once, but the animations slow things down.
Just one example, off the top of my head: Play Wild, manage to get a copy of the Druid spell Tree of Life, cast it, make sure to also cast some damage spells that didn’t start in your deck, then play Rommath. It is now at least in theory possible that the damage spells hit face to bring a hero to zero, and then Tree of Life heals them back to prevent their death.
