Standart mode uniform ok. Now so is wild mode. A lot player secret mage. Pls GREAT nerf. Really. There is need. ( 15 match 10 secret mage…I want to laugh like a joker ) PS: Great Movie.
Flame Ward great card…Only 3 dmg all enemies minions…In my opinion
very little…Must be 5 dmg…LoL…3 mana card 3 dmg. Very brilliant.
PS: The same grind every month. Always OP, op, op char. It’s boring now. Is that how it’s gonna be five more years ? Five + more years OP mode game design. Wonderful.
Please don’t touch wild mode !!! Please don’t touch wild mode !!! Please, make the necessary arrangements.
Now you can develop a new game design. Please.
the difference to regular AOE spells like flamestrike or blizzard is that the opponent can play around flame ward exceptionally well. it’s usually rather obvious when the secret mage played flame ward and then you can either wait and trade or bite the lemon (the best option depends on the stats of your minions).
this can’t be done with cards like flamestrike. they just appear and the only indicator that it could come is if the mage has 7 or more mana.
so a clever opponent can mitigate much of the damage that flame ward does. and in that case it becomes 3 mana ‘kill 1 or 2 small minions’. this isn’t the case every time of course. but in general experience and skill of the opponent will determine how much flame ward is worth.
Yea, you’ve been saying this since early 2018. at this point you got no one but yourself to blame for your experience.
I’m not sure what exactly you’re aiming to say with this. But let me share this: a while ago there was a blog post in which a dev claimed that the dev team had discussions about the direction of wild. supposedly this went along the lines of “should we make wild a serious game mode or should it be a total crapshoot?” (he obviously used more suitable vocabulary like ‘fun’, ‘awesome’ and ‘exciting’)
he didn’t say what decision those discussions ended at but I believe that anyone who ventures into wild knows what they decided.
‘’ Yea, you’ve been saying this since early 2018. at this point you got no one but yourself to blame for your experience. ‘’
I have experience dear Khisana, I play min 4years, I won more than 20000 matches, legend card back vsvs…I think; important facts for experience.
What I would like to say, will it always be like that ? Most people are bored with OP cards and decks…I can see this from the forums.
Not everyone can be on the same level in this game, example: Because there is also the purchase of decks with real money, and a lot more other reasons…So there must be a balance or different card designs.
I am writing again, most people are bored with OP cards and decks…People love this game, the game based on the OP system is becoming boring. Unfortunately.
&
Wild Mode, Away from the boringness of standard mode, it was very enjoyable. Right now, unfortunately & People like to enjoy playing games. In my opinion.
But it is not possible to enjoy in a uniform game. Unfortunately.
PS: I’m really tired of seeing mage.
Anyway, Thanks a lot dear Khisana.
But what you achieved in the game or can do in the game has nothing to do with not enjoying it like you used to back in the days.
And if you continue to do stuff you dont enjoy than you have yourself to blame.
I enjoy wild more atm as well but when you say you got kegend cardback i assume im far lower in ranks probably
Not only becsuse theres a chance i font play much at the moment and also … lets face it… i suck at the game
Do you feel bored because its always the same or because you dont enjoy playing a counter?
I didn’t mean that you’re inexperienced. what I meant was that you’ve been saying these things for almost 2 years, yet you continue to play the game (I suppose). and for this, for the gameplay experience with a game that you don’t seem to like too much, you got no one else to blame because you continue to play it.
my guess is yes. moving away from what they’ve been doing for the past couple of years would equal a pretty sharp turn in direction. I doubt they’d risk alienating a (I think) big part of the playerbase.
maybe it would be a viable strategy if the game would decline so much that it would risk its profitability, but I think it possible that at this point other card game, which have concentrated on these issues the whole time would have an edge over blizzard. but then again it’s blizzard with its reputation and stuff.
this is all very speculative anyway
most people in this forum, yes. but the unhappy population is always more vocal than the happy population.
here’s an example of what I mean: say you went to a camera store and the employees treated you nicely and helped you decide which camera to buy (situation A). or they were complete %$&§s who laughed at you for not being an expert in the camera field (situation B).
which situation is more likely to cause you to write an email to the manager of the store?
I’m not saying that the unhappy people in this forum are wrong. I am saying that this forum isn’t representative for the whole player base.
I’m not 100% sure on what you mean. but if you mean that there must be a balance between paying customers and non-paying ones in terms of equalizing the advantage of paying customers then I disagree. this would incentivize players to not pay money to blizzard and that’s something that no for-profit company can do.
if you mean that the game must be more balanced in terms of having most matchups at 50/50… well, I’d like that as well, but blizzard has shown time and time again that they don’t care about that. and I find this to be consistent with their overall approach to the game, which I’d summarize in one sentence as ‘hearthstone isn’t chess’.
I totally agree. I was very enjoyable. ‘was’ being the operative word in that sentence
I understand that and I agree for the most part. after having read your post I looked it up on vicioussyndicate. secret mage is played by almost 20% of the rank 4-1 population.
In my opinion the issue with secret mage lies in the secrets. it’s a special experience playing against the neverending flow of secrets and for me it’s a very unfun one. even though most times it is rather obvious which secrets he has up, it still sucks to decide which of your spells you need the least because this is gonna be counterspelled or to decide whether to let a 5/5 live and deal damage to you or to kill it, just to give your opponent two 0 mana 5/5s in hand.
I know that this goes against the autopilot gamestyle that most decks go, but I think this is a bad way of making people think about their lines. but this is my opinion. others might like playing against secrets. I hate it.
If I don’t like it,i do not play…Because I love Wild mode. ( I’m playing very very little standart mode. I was already criticizing the standard mode ) Now my favorite mode, unfortunately the same. I hope this doesn’t take long.
About the forum…What i want to say,the number of unhappy people is increasing day by day.Unfortunately & You are right in the camera store example.
The player comes to a rank by playing really nice.
Secret Mage, since this deck is the majority, it’s really boring when it comes back to back. I think there is an infrastructure that will produce a solution to this.
Have a nice day dear Khisana
you have the same, kind Sir
