I dunno how it happened, but I actually have the largest collection of cards (and legendaries) in mage class. Since LPG got butchered (great playing now against quest druids - that is totally fair), highlander decks lack consistency and a tidal wave of aggro decks has swooshed in - anyone can point me in a direction of a working mage deck?
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am “relatively” new to the game, so I play Standard only.

I saw that deck somewhere, but unfortunately for wild I missed like 4 years of this game (or how old it actually is).
I suggest op mage, it’s an archetype that has always been in HS even when mage was considered the worst class and not worth playing.
Leaving jokes asides
this deck right here was so good (top of tier 1) that people started switching decks to counter it (reno and wall warlock and priest) and when it fell from popularity those decks countering it were tier 3 or 2 at best, now it’s still good but people don’t recognize it at all, most like they don’t recognize odd rogue for example
you have the link to a good list there, maybe oracle for thalnos if you want to, but I think the list is better with oracle, it’s not too hard of a deck if you’re experienced with freeze exodia and burn mage but it’s one that you can learn a lot about and from if you commit to it
