I’ve ben trying for some time to get the Yoggchamp achievement. Yesterday I thought i got it, twice! First time, a shaman played Eye of the storm into my secret, which turned it into Nagrand Slam and killed me. Later a rogue (after a mischief maker play by me) had the secret active, and when i played Anyfin, it turned into Nagrand Slam and killed him. Neither of these games awared me the achievement. They were in ranked play (wild). Both d those cases, or at least one of them, has to be considered dealing lethal damage with “Oh my Yogg”. Have I completely misunderstood the achievement, or is this a bug? And if it is a bug, is it possible to be awared the achievement manually later (the game is saved on HSreplay)
I think (not sure though) that for the achievement a hero needs to die as a DIRECT effect of the spell. So for instance a Mind Blast, Fireball to the face, etc etc.
For Nagrand Slam, the direct effect of the spell is to summon four minions with a deep desire to attack immediately. But I assume the game does not consider the actual damage dealt by the minions as the direct effect of the spell; it’s just the indirect effect.
I do understand your logic in expecting this to count for the achievement. But to be honest, would you also have expected to get the achievement if a Clefthoof survives and then attacks and kills the hero the turn after?
That said … it might be intended to do get the achievement if a hero dies as a result of the attacks that the spell forces. and if it is indeed intended, then you ran into a bug.
I suggest to increase visibility that you post on the Bug Report forum (https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/hearthstone/c/bug-report/8); do add links to the hsreplay games. (There’s a sticky thread on the Bug Report forum to explain how). Then at least the devs and QA staff will see the report.
