I find it really hard to get some sense of card game in your… Card game.
- You killed the ladder by introducing a powerhouse at the beginning of the year, an archetype that is still creeping to today and staying on top of the ladder, and will stay top of the ladder after the next expansion. This killed your sales.
- You had already killed Mercrenaries with the worst updates ever seen and the lack of committment.
- You killed Duel for.. What reason again? Money saving?
- You killed Adventures because you had no more idea to develop a PvE model.
- You killed the Classic format for.. ? No reason
- You killed the Twist format for.. ? No reason either, this was my favorite mode and I haven’t been able to play it since July 2024.
- And yesterday, congratulations! You killed Arena. What was supposed to be a “random deck draft based on RNG and skill” is now a copy of the Wild format.
You doubled the price of entry, added a stupid “Everybody has a legendary and stable cards” to remove the RNG from the draft, added all the expansions available in the current ladder. What is the result? OTK T5 in arena? Facing FIVE TIMES THE SAME DECK IN A ROW. In a RANDOM DRAFT.
What you could do to stop being harrassed by everyone?
- Nerf the Protoss in ladder.
- Nerf the Warlock quest.
- Reduce the mana cheat from rogue.
- Open the Twist format even if it’s not updated. There’s ZERO reason to close it.
- Reduce the obvious money grab that is the Pet shop and give compensation to players who can’t even access it because your game description went from “TCG” to “Gambling”.
- Diversify the pool of expansions from Arena, not everything has to be consistent with a synergy. Remove the “free package” that comes with the legendaries. It’s A-R-E-N-A, make it RNG or make it Construct, not both. And make it 1 ticket again. We used to earn 10 times the rewards, now we only earn 3 times maximum. An obvious scam, considering 40% of the decks we face are from Bot accounts who generated a perfect draft (ladder deck with 2 times more key card).
- Maybe start banning IPs of those bot accounts? People who used to make money from gold farming in the game 10 years ago are still here to this day, after they created their 1000th account without any action taken on your side.
- Bring back adventures, puzzles, hard quests. I know you probably run out of ideas, so you can cooperate with content creators who have hundreds of ideas and recommendation that you’ve been brushing off for years.
- Give us a tournament format.
- Run your game through QA and LQA (sectors that were probably laid off I assume).
You really seem to don’t care anymore, and for YEARS we’ve complained, nothing is done. Rambling on a Discord server isn’t gonna change anything. But you need to know how bad you are faring, I didn’t think it was possible to take down one by one each mode and make them awful. Streamers and players alike offer you insight and feedback. Take it!
