So why can’t we get custom avatars in game? I don’t want to use the portraits of the heroes. I want to set my own avatar that I always use for every site? The point of avatars is to set what you like. They shouldn’t make avatars and decide for us what we will set on it. It would be like making decisions for us what usernames we will use. Whatever the reason you come up with to not let us have custom avatar, can be applied to usernames as well. So they don’t have a problem with us setting any username, then why would avatars be a problem?
Most os “avatars” are some 18+, anime or racist sh*t, so its really bad idea to give you an opportunity to set any avatar you want.
But why not censoring usernames then? Usernames can be offensive too. Chat can be offensive too. These are free to use.
I really don’t know what’s the problem with having a avatar that is already in the game. The only reason I see that someone wants a different avatar is if he wants some dumb weeb or edgy profile picture
you assume that everyone who plays hots are there to troll. What do you think, why do blizzard make skins for heroes? Why do players use them? If Blizzard gave us the option to customize our heroes, do you think players wouldn’t do it? They would, I guarantee it. Same way, they would use their own avatars. Almost no one would use in game avatars.
yet you forget that as blizzard makes skins, they also make avatars. And tbh there are so many avatars to choose from that it shouldn’t even be a problem
