Because its the players that actually broke it. How many of you are friends with people of much higher rank and use that to get a higher rank yourself, how many of you have smurf accounts, how many of you love stomping in this game but can’t take it when somebody does the same to you and you get stomped.
The problem is, you are all hypocrites, the entire playerbase is. If you wanted a genuinely “balanced” matchmaking, you would need to remove all premades and ban smurf accounts on sight.
But since everyone is doing it, nobody wants it. You just want the matchmaking to be tipped in YOUR favour.
Insulting the whole playerbase on the game’s forum is seldom done by people who actually thought about what they’re doing and have something meaningful to say. In the future please do take into consideration where and how to vent your frustration.
I just want the matchmaking to actually find a game for my team when we have that one friend with us. Let it ignore them for their lower rank, like it used to, or at least tell me that it won’t find a game. We once did a little test: 5-man squad with them and a 5-man squad without them. With them we waited for 50 minutes (this is not an exaggeration) until we gave up. Without them we found a match in 3 minutes. At this point it was two years ago, but these days it’s hard to find a 5-man team to test it again. The “it doesn’t work anyway” argument doesn’t make it easier.
To clarify: I mean ranked queue. Unranked draft doesn’t find anything.
