Does the report system actually do anything? Do we have any confirmation or evidence? There’s an overwhelming number of people who intentionally feeds or goes AFK. Happens every 2’nd or 3’rd game for me.
Sometimes I see the same person in multiple games just playing specially to troll the game, people talk in chat about how everyone is going to report that person, yet you keep seeing the same bad faith players. Which makes me think there’s no penalty to breaking the rules?

Here is how it works, one report will not do anything, but if a player gets multiple reports it triggers an investigation and if sufficient evidence of harassment, trolling, AFK, spamming etc etc is found they get the silence penalty, but the silence penalty scales, first time you get silenced is only for i think 3 or 4 days, next silence will be for a week i think, and then two weeks, and then a month. At least thats how i understand it.

just takes some time. things are moving slowly around here.
those guys u see, it’s not uncommon to create two or three, or more, accounts with the same name. perhaps due to lack of imagination but nevertheless it comes with the advantage of seeming persistent. perhaps it is to create an image.
things are a lot about appearance these days. if you can appear in a certain way, people believe it and that, is believed, to make it true. which is a lie, but that doesn’s stop anyone.
trolling is about breaking the spirit of others, it’s about removing the fun. the best troll, imo, does it without appearing as a troll. it only sow the seeds of bad times into the game as every encounter with them goes awry. they miss every critical opportunity but the stats look normal. but that kind of trolling takes effort and dedication that trolls normally do not possess as they’re just there to disrupt the game with minimal effort and maximum result.
best thing would be if they’d bunch up some criteria and just auto banned if you filled those criteria. but i suppose it’s difficult. people are bad sometimes, and you shouldn’t get a ban from being bad. but u know, when that leoric stands under tower all game it’s pretty obvious who the troll is for those on the floor. when certain things happen over and over it should at least trigger an investigation. perhaps it does, idk, and that trigger should be in addition to reports.
lately it’s been more trolls, i think. perhaps that’s a sign of a player count increase? some posts here too. no one ever posts here.

How do you know if the reporting system works, do you actually work for Blizzard or have you been told by a Blizzard employee how it works or did you create the reporting system?
I’ve searched every where on the internet in my opinion and no idea how it works. Someone should make a youtube video of how the reporting system works in my opinion and all the blizzard videos should be on the blizzard website.
it’s a big problem that we get no confirmation on what happened in case we make a complaint/report. we don’t see any consequences directly, only indirectly.
we need confirmation on what happened somehow, at least that someone received the report. other information also.
