This has been going on for a while but having dumped into Plat this is worse than i expected.
This evening i played probably 2-3 hours. What felt like every game im gonna guess 50 % of my games overall (which is still a lot) had the following setup. 1-2 guys from Dia+3 and 1-2 guys from Gold (probably smurfs in the mix i suspect). MMR wise they get some mid-to-high plat which gives them a supreme advantage to win the game with the current skill swings within plat player base.
To have a full league in between team members is too much. It creates an unfair advantage and players know it and they are exploiting it for rank and easy wins.
Players are climbing into Master doing plat matches instead of building actual skill through diamond.
Is this how you want people to progress in ranked and become “master”? Not to mention the frustrating player experience from the opposing team.
