I just lost 208 points in a storm league game where our tank disconnected at the two minute mark never to return followed by our only other frontline, Malthael, rage quitting at the four minute mark.
I understand that for every quitter my team has, the enemy team will technically speaking have 1.2 as long as I never quit myself. Still, this is extremely frustrating and in need of fixing. I propose harsher penalties for leaving storm league games especially when it clearly is a long-term pattern rather than an unfortunate one-off or emergency situation leave. For those individuals with unstable networks, I understand that this might feel overly harsh. However, other people should not suffer just because your network cannot be relied upon for gaming purposes.
Another issue that I have identified is the lack of knowing whether a player that you and others have repeatedly reported for AFK/Non-participation or other infringements has been punished. As an example, there was once an antisemitic and anti-US post on Twitter, which I reported because it was first of all despicable, but also to see if the system works. I got notification two hours later that this user had indeed been banned with his infringing posts removed. Perhaps it is time for Activision-Blizzard to include similar standards for their reporting system? For four years I have reported obvious infringements in this game and I have no idea of knowing whether any of them did anything and I feel that even the ones that did were not acted upon in a timely manner.
