Hero Suggestion: Vol'jin, a healer that requires micro

Preface:
I do this for fun. I’m not saying it’s balanced or that it should be in the game.

Like Rexxar has control over Misha, this Vol’jin has control over his Spirit as an extra unit, which can extend the range of his otherwise pretty short ranged abilities (influenced by Elder Titan in Dota 2). His heal has a short cooldown but in order to support its mana cost he must also constantly deal damage.

–Abilities–

[Trait, Passive] - Bad Mojo
Vol Jin does not regenerate mana. Instead 30% of all ability damage dealt is returned as mana, doubled against heroes.

[D] - Spirit Walk
Dislodge a controllable Spirit copy of Vol’Jin. Use D to move Spirit. Ignores terrain.
Spirit has 700 health and targets as a hero, but can not be targeted by physical attacks.

When the ability ends, the Spirit disapparates in a pulse of ghastly energy, dealing 120 damage to enemies near it.

Lasts up to 10 seconds
15 seconds cooldown.

[Q] - Voodoo Restoration
Channel to heal closely nearby allies for 80/sec for up to 4 seconds.
60 mana + 30mana/second
6 seconds cooldown

Heals in an area around your Spirit as well while Spirit Walk is active.

[W] - Curse upon you
For up to 5 seconds, nearby enemies take 2% of their max hp as damage per second. When the ability ends, all nearby enemies are Cursed.
Cursed slows movement speed by 70%, decaying over 2 seconds.
Reactivate to end ability.
10 seconds cooldown.

If cast during Spirit Walk, ability is instead cast from your Spirit, and instead of slowing, Cursed lowers damage dealt by 30% for 4 seconds

[E] - Spirit Totem
Place down a totem. Vol’jin gains 30% spell power when near it.
1 second after being placed it can be reactivated, destroying the totem and dealing 150 damage to nearby enemies and rooting them for 1.5 seconds. Totem lasts up to 8 seconds.
50 mana
8 seconds cooldown.

After 0.75 seconds. Make every nearby ally except Vol’jin invulnerable for 4 seconds. Channeling

Casting Big Bad Voodoo ends Spirit Walk

[R2] - Hexing Totem
Put down a totem with 700 health. Every 3 seconds it turns nearby enemies into critters for 1,5 seconds. Lasts 9 seconds.

–Talents–

1:
[D] - Tag Team: Your Spirit deals 60 damage and gains 5% increased movement speed the first time it contacts each enemy hero. Resets for each cast
[D] - Vision quest: Increase Spirit movement speed by 15% and its vision radius by 25%
[Q] - Seance: Mana cost of Voodoo Restoration is reduced by 50% while under the effect of a healing globe. Quest: Collect 20 Regen Globes. Reward: Mana returned from Bad Mojo increased to 50%.

[Q] - Lingering Spirit: Voodoo Restoration continues to heal nearby allies for 60% of the amount after the ability ends. This effect lasts 0.5 seconds per 1 second channeled.
[W] - Unfortunate Souls: If Curse Upon You affects more than one hero, increase the damage to 3% per second.
[E] - Deeply Rooted: Detonating totem more than 3 seconds after it is placed increases the damage and root duration by 50%.

7:
[D] - Plane Disruption: When Spirit Walk ends it removes slows, stuns and roots from allies near the Spirit.
[E] - Totemic Power: Your basic attacks deal an additional 50 spell damage while you are in range of your Spirit Totem.
[Basic Attack] - Knock on Wood: Your next basic attack deals an additional 100 spell damage. 5 seconds cooldown

13:
[D] - Ethereal Presence: Gain 15 armor while Spirit Walk is not active, and 10% movement speed while it is.
[Q] - Spirit Shroud: Reduces the duration of stuns roots and slows by 30% for allies being healed by Voodoo Restoration. If Voodoo Restoration channel is interrupted by an enemy the next cast costs no mana.
[Q] - Cheating the Grave: Voodoo Restoration restores an additional 5% of missing health per second.
[New Ability] - Serpent Ward: Instead of detonating it, turn a placed Spirit Totem into a Serpent Ward that attacks the nearest enemy for 70/second, prioritizing heroes. Lasts 5 seconds.

16:
[D] - Guardian Spirit: Spirit grants 20 armor to allies near it, but Vol’jin’s armor is reduced by 20 while Spirit Walk is active.
[W] - Mirror to the Soul: Curse upon You is cast from both you and your Spirit.
[W] - Malediction: If Curse Upon You damages enemy heroes for a total of 8 seconds, enemies are also silenced and blinded for 1.5 seconds upon being Cursed.
[E] - Hallowed Ground: Spirit Totem grants nearby allies 30 spell armor, but its duration is reduced by 3 seconds.

20:
[R1] - Bad Manners: Duration and cooldown is reduced by 50% and area of effect is increased by 25%.
[R2] - Totemic Restoration: Totem also heal nearby allies for 10% of their maximum health every 3 seconds. Every enemy hero that is hexed increases totems duration by 1,5 seconds.
[Q] - Shadow of Zandalar: Voodoo Restoration deals damage to nearby enemies equal to the amount it heals.
[New Ability] - See you on the other side: Teleport Vol’jin to the Spirits location, ending Spirit Walk. 50 seconds cooldown.
