illidan is too weak against burst damage
so do something about it blizzard
he need spell armor at low lvls not lvl 13 and not only 2 source
he is not good at team fight when enemy has lots of burst damage
How do you expect to stop him without burst damage being effective?
Due to his innate self-heal he’s almost invincible to sustained damage
its true but its really weak

blizzard says he pairs well with heroes that can enable him but the problem is there are too many hero that are better
put abathur on Varian with twin blade
the problem is his health is way less than many of the range assassins
if liming hit u with her all basic abilities at lvl 1 u are dead
qhira will kill u with one hand

I hunt her with full health and she was bellow 30% health she killed me just with her 3 basic ability

There is your mistake
You are not supposed to fight Qhira alone as she has great sustained ability damage that you just cannot block and she can heal using W if her bleed is on an enemy hero
The more stacks the more she heals
The problem isn’t that Illidan is weak
The problem is that you are not skilled enough to play him well
Misha is part of a hero who is in the Bruiser category which is known for their ability to take damage and deal it too
Now if Illidan had less health than Murky or Erik then I would worry
Well, he suffers from that, buff him he is overpowered, nerf him he is useless thing.
Illidan sadly works in very specific situations, he isn’t really that good.
They should add a cleanse talent to him, at lvl 7. That would help him a lot.

Genji,Trace…That is why tank exist,make them focus on ur tank then you jump in.

illidan heals 50 % of his damage at lvl 7
so it means he shouldn’t die easy 1 vs 1
if illidan couldn’t win 1 vs 1 and be useless in team fight what is it good for

try to kill a tank like arthas , murdan , malganas solo
try to kill qhira solo , she will kill u with one hand

Which SHOULD STILL BE THE CASE as not much has changed about him!
Trying to be good with Illidan is a lot like trying to be good with The Lost Vikings
It’s very difficult and takes a lot of patience but if you can do it then you will be a force to be reckoned with
The thing about Illidan is that if someone is good with him
They are REALLY GOOD with him to the point where this particular player can outshine all those other Melee Assassins and Bruisers that Illidan often competes with
And this same logic applies even if this same player players heroes other than Illidan
Someone good with Illidan is just really good
But the problem is that you will rarely find such players who will dedicate themselves to Illidan because most are just in the “I want to only play squishy high-damage Ranged Assassins Club”
I should also tell you that before Varian came along
Illidan was the self-healing Melee hero that most players used to fear
The difference is that more players played Illidan and learned how to be good with him back then
Now they just have the easy option of learning Twin Blades Varian instead
You can easily still kill Qhira with Illidan but you have to be smart about dodging all her skill-shots
But most players still should never try to kill Qhira alone because of that self-heal giving her ridiculously good sustaining heals when fighting heroes
Go against Qhira alone with Imperius or Tyrael
Malthael is also a good idea
And I recommend these heroes not just because they have higher health than Illidan
But because they are simpler to play
Illidan is not for everybody
You need fast reflexes and heightened awareness as a player just like an actual Demon Hunter
You can’t expect your First-Person Shooter skills to pay off just like they would for most Ranged Assassins with their fire and forget long-ranged sniper spells
Because when you play Illidan:

I tried all it builds and know every thing about him
and how to play with him
I had a game vs blaze and qhira
they just used their ults on team fight at the same time and illidan was the only one couldn’t survive that even range assassins survived easy from it but not illidan , I had 15 death in that game , I never had 15 death with any hero but him while my illidan lvl is 78
blizzard can do something about it
one of these
1-make him a range assassin
2-do some thing about his health or armor
3- just say that illidan is a very hard hero to play
third option is the best I think
after 3 years blizzard rework for illidan was this
improving the talent that no one picks
I saw many movie about him
no one picked that talent even lvl 2000 players

Illidan went through a lot of changes over the years. There was time when they buffed him just to nerf him a month later.
Madi you say you know everything about Illidan. Yet you don’t even know which heroes you can win in duels. Those are basics which people with very low Illidan knowledge can understand

u cant kill a heroes that reduce your attack speed and stun u
also the melee heroes that use spell damage and burst damage
illidan is not good vs
murdan , arthas , zul ,most of the tank have this option (attack speed reduction )
artanis , ragnoras , varian (twin blade) ,sonya,MALGANIS,etc(using spell damage in fight)
murdan ,uther , etc (stunners)
graymane , thral ,qhira , keregan (burst damage) just let illidan evasion is over and than u can use your basic abilities it will kill him
if illidan use evasion u can use your spell damage
armorer reduction ----> dead
he is not good vs rooters too
because as long as he hits some thing he heals if u root him he just need 1717 damage (1 hit from liming basic abilities )at lvl 1 to die and its not too much

its main use is for dodging pyroblast (kael’thas lvl 10 ability)
and it has no use till lvl 20 : (short duration , no att speed , no mounting , and low health increase ) muridan Avatar is WAY better !
at lvl 20 if u use your meta ult on 4 hero it will increase your health by 2000
the problem is if u do it u went in to 4 and your health is 5500
they will kill u ez because its 1 vs 4 and your health still is less than a tank
