So I’ve been mainly playing Mei since she was first released. I like playing Mei as she is a good fit for what I like about this game.
However, I’ve noticed that one of her voice-over lines is “I hate boys!”. At least, that’s what I hear, maybe I misheard or didn’t interpret correctly?
If this is indeed the case, then I would like to report hate speech and harrassment against me based on my gender. Blizzard, please change this and issue a public apology.
Imagine making a toon that says “I hate women!” or “I hate Trans people!” in a game that 12 year old children are allowed to play.
This is unacceptable.

I think you misheard it. On hots wiki, there are her voicelines. And one of them is this one: “Pick on somebody else! Ugh. I hate bullies.”
