Quick matchmaking force you to lose?

Hi there!

So after losing like 7 or 8 games in a row in QM I decided to check why. After the battle I have checked lvl of players, and here is what I got:
me - 854
Teammate 1 - 23
Teammate 2 - 164
Teammate 3 - 37
Teammate 4 - 386

Enemy 1 - 1065
Enemy 2 - 607
Enemy 3 - 1174
Enemy 4 - 342
Enemy 5 - 594

No healers. So there would be no problems of switching assassins to make the game at least a bit balanced. But for some reason I need to lose since out of 12 recent games I won only 1.

So my question is what exactly is the logic behind matchmaking and how can I play without game deciding whether I lose or win?

Watch the search timer, it may be “expanding search” to find you a game. There is an MMR, but it’s often very very loose because not enough people are playing for you to get good matches.

Also, I don’t know the exact MMR, but it uses “history” as part of the equation. This means, the game does try to get you to lose. That’s sometimes a good thing, because it likely means it’s a chance for you to prove your current MMR wrong, and move your MMR up.

Easy games are often the reverse, near meaningless, but if you lose one, ouch.
