it about 20 points for a win, 5 wins = 100 points. 30 wins = just to get back to the lvlel you were at. i played a game and we were discussing what hero would be best and time ran out, I was kicked, leaver status. No auto select just a 600 point loss.
Ok that was my fault but the penalty is Fornicating Unintelligent. Yesterday I ended up playing 4 games in a row with a player named DeadMeme, He enters in the draft by calling everyone N;GGER, losers, bronz noobs and such stuff. So i reported him. Unblocked him and told him I was reporting him. So he started boasting that N;GGER was not a bad word since it was not spelled correctly, told me to google it when I told him I had reported him in the games before. he totally threw the game mad because he was reported. AFK just sitting and doing circles. the next draft i did NOT want to play with this player. he was rude and threw 3 games prior. I wanted to leave the Que, but I had to sit through the game of abuse, as not to loss 600 points. LOL THEN I am asked “How effective do you think the reporting system is. the reporting system is.” I think its about as effective as breasts on a NUN. I live in Alaska, we have had 1,500 earthquakes this year. Sometime earthquakes cause power surges, and if they happen during Que or at the end of the match and you cant get back in, then you lose 600 points. I am at the bottom of bronze 5, 1000 match points for promotion to bronze 4. It is frustrating to see players talking deification to me about my rank, “STFU bronze5” when they have a 20-30% lower win rate than I do. Im am not asking how a player with a 43% win rate got into gold. Its a dice roll tryng to play a good game when your matched with player wit a 20 or 30% win rate. BLIZZARD WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO FIX THIS PROBLEM

I met someone who whined about the situation and they told me they Disabled Team Chat
And THEN they told me they Enabled Team Chat just to type some insults at people and then disabled it again to prevent replies from coming through
And THEN THEY ARE SURPRISED AND ANNOYED THAT THEY GOT PUNISHED FOR IT!
They either do not understand how the system works or simply does not want to resist the temptation to insult others despite knowing!

If it was you I would do the same. after all we can not correct the problems if we dont report them. And even though someone might be rude, they may still be able to help in game play. That was the issue of the post, i reported him However nothein is ever done about it. no matter how many reports you send it makes ZERO difference. if you had tken the time to read the whole article that i prepaired you whould have understood. however perhps it is my fault. maybe i did not explain myself clearly. I posted for an understanding of the problem, and you are focused on the actions of the individual. my intention is NOT to harm the player, or get him silenced or ban. maybe he had a bad day, i dont know him. I understand what you are saying however. if they are mad at my telling them they are reported then they are only mad at themselves. if i do not tell them then how will they know. If i am acting out of character in such a way as I have described, please tell me, and tell me i have been reported so I can weigh the seriousness of my actions and make corrections immediately. If i resent you for this, then I am in resentment of my own actions.

So, TLDR; you reported somebody, then provoked them while knowing they are toxic, and made entire team suffer because of your ego.

As xylord has said in an older post, blizzard is very tolerant to players and always want’s to give a second chance. Maybe he went completely mad while playing with you and if so, you can’t expect blizzard to instantly ban him- it takes time
If this was an isolated incident the offender will most likely walk away with just a warning anyway
