I’m playing on US at normal times. Usually on games like Overwatch I get really fast queues. But for some reason Heroes takes a very long time.
I used to play a long time ago and just recently came back. Is that what could be causing it?
They improved the “quality” of the MM at the expense of queue time.
One thing it depends on is the mode youre trying to play.
Hero League is generally slower nowadays because of the outdated solo-queue-system.
Try queueing for Team League instead as it doesnt split the playerbase, but instead combines solo-players and player-groups like every sensible multiplayer game.

I’m just trying to do quick play, but I’m getting 200+ second elapsed wait time while the estimated wait time is around 60 seconds.
Estimated wait times mean very little and should be ignored. Average que timed are usually 100+ seconds anyway.
Long queue times is actually why I stopped playing on the European server. I just could not stand it…
Previously I had played LoL, which is a faster queue with a predefined role!. So it makes you wonder whats going on here. Am currently playing Dota, but would come back if the queue times improved slightly.

they even have this thing to mask the longer que times, when you que for 10 minutes, then u get “A player you were matched with has left the game”, so u can que for another 10 minutes.

on US at normal times- like time zones or…ussualy ? if you play early in the morning you will have fast response, if you are small in LVL it will take like forever, even on the EU at any time.
Don’t complain about Que time please… It will destroy the experience of every match. It’s already horrible as it is… Don’t become the reason for it to become worse.
