Looks like game is slowly decaying and with lack of pro developers it will not improve, so stop asking for balance, HL/TL changes or other silly things because that will not happen! Interns will run the show now!
Probably hero releases will go down to few a year~

Honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if in a few years blizzard announce they’re shutting down the Hots servers.
Now that I think about this, internally this must have been on the table for months for blizzard, and if wow is anything to go by they have no compunction against ruining a system to justify removing it, perhaps the recent MM problems were intentionally implemented to tank the playerbase and justify stopping support for HotS?

its all about Amrita Ahuja and her mission of cutting costs. They don’t give a hoot about the game, they only care about mobile gaming now.
The recent development got 0 things to do, that the game never broke ground against Dota 2 and LoL,no matter how hard they improved the game or promote it.And everyone kinda embraced that and it was cool.
As most outlets are reporting ,and people seeing across Blizz games, the recent Hots thing is 1 of the so many Activision move into Blizzard.First sign was Mike steping down,2.was the new Activision CFO moving into the company.And as outlets are reporting alot of inside company tension are becoming apparent,people are laid off(hots devs got 2 days before this news got out a notice),and no they are not moved to the mobile devs,but actually fired.
Its no surprise Hots under performed (even Totalbiscuit said in the games technical Alpha that they need to step it up,and define the game).
Mike kept the game as a fan service,and didnt want to just cut it out.(probably also he was the one that green lighted WoW Classic)
But as we see aggressive moves more and more its apparent this is now Activision,no longer Blizzard.(they interduced a store mount just couple of days in WoW to try boost there end of year profit,to milk as much as possible the dire fans,and its got probably to do that 8.1. didnt atrackt alot of people to resub,the game is just a mess)
Also repeating my post from different thread,i doubt they will invest there capital from mobile games to future IP’s from Blizzard they will suck them dry and then dump them.Its AV! we are talking about here,a company that sits on IP’s like Guitar hero and Tony Hawk and is doing nothing with them for 10 years.Just re-releases Cod.

they tried to listen to the community and the game got worse because they listened to ppl who have no idea about how to actually play this game.

As most of the people agree they where slow on implementation,and imo never fully committed to the game.After AV overtook the company they cut the game and this is where we are.
