[SC2 Marauder] Hammer Securities hero suggestion

    Hello people, this one I believe it’s simple and fun, if you like him you can suggest a name. Don’t forget to post your opinion!
    The marauder it’s a Melee Warrior hero (Yes, he punches) designed towards long combat disruption, lane sustain and harrassment.

  1. Skillset
  • (Q) Concussive Shells (Very low cooldown)
    Launches an explosive shell from one of his grenade launchers that travels a long distance in a straight line towards target point, explodes on contact with enemy units slowing and dealing X damage to him and nearby units on a small area. The explosive shell ricochets out of walls and structures. Explodes when it reaches a max traveling distance.
Summary

Designed to be spammable and the real source of damage that can get dangerous on long fights or lanning periods. Is a very simple skillshot that could benefit from multiple talents like: Armor penalty, stackable damage, MAX HP percentage damage, reducing abilty damage of affected enemies, etc. you name it. Also the fact that it bounces off of walls allows the marauder to hit heroes behind the enemy lines, making it a nice and rewarding skillshot to master.

  • (W) Stims Cocktail (Medium to high cooldown)
    The marauder gets an absurd movement speed bonus and unstoppable for a short duration, getting damaged during Boosters gives twice the stacks of Kinetic foam[/li]

Escape mechanism and initiation tool.

  • (E) Point-blank Taser Round (Medium to low cooldown)
    The marauder’s next melee basic attack shoots a close-range high-voltage discharge in front of him after a short delay. The charge explodes in a cone in front of him dealing heavy (but non-lethal) damage over time. Enemies zapped cower in pain getting muted and blinded for a short duration.
Summary

A special spammable disable that aims at rendering high value target useless rather than crippling them to become easy picks. As it is an skillshot in its own way, the short delay can be used in a variety of ways, like hitting a creep, turning around, and disabling an enemy that it’s away from melee range. But also gives enemies a short window of time to get away from the blast

  • (1st Heroic) Riot-Control Stun Grenade (Medium heroic cooldown)
    The marauder shoots a stun grenade towards target big area, after reaching it’s point it explodes, dealing a small amount of damage and stunning enemies a short duration.

Straight-forward stun, simple but priceless heroic ability that can’t be overlooked

  • (2nd Heroic) Nano-Rockets Discharge (Long heroic cooldown)
    The marauder assumes a firm stance and channels during the duration, shooting nano explosives from both grenade launchers at an increasing ratio towards a mobile area that follows mouse pointer’s position at a ramping speed. Deals heavy damage.
Summary

It works like Gall’s shadow volley or Triglav’s protector gattling cannon but deals AoE damage around target point at the price of subpar rate of fire and sensibility, but making those ramp up brutally over time, if he gets disabled during the channeling the spell is over.

  • (Trait)Kinetic Foam (Instant cooldown)
    Every time the marauder gets damaged or lands a skill on an enemy hero, it gains a Kinetic Foam stack for a short duration that gives him a small amount of armor or spell armor. (Toggle the trait to switch between them) It’s stackable and each time the marauder gets an stack the duration is refreshed.
Summary

Must have visual effect for armor and spell armor. This one is what makes the marauder the star on long fights

    Consumes all charges of Kinetic Foam to give a heal that scales in function of the number of stacks.

    Shredder Rounds (Level 1): After globes quest Concussive Shell deal bonus damage to enemy heroes equal to X% of their maximum health.
    Smart Blast-Reshaper (Level 1): Concussive Shell deal stackable bonus damage for consecutive hits to enemy heroes.
    Incapacitating Fragmentation (Level 1): Concussive Shell lowers Physical Damage or Spell Power (matching Kinetic Foam protection) of affected enemy heroes.
    Reactive Production (Level 1): After quest, hitting heroes with auto attacks lowers Concussive Shell cooldown.
  • Level 4 (Sustain mechanisms)
    Kaboomania (Level 4): After quest, heals for X% damage dealt with Concussive Shell.
    Energy Absorber (Level 4): Landing a Point-blank Taser Round while Stim Cocktail is active generates a shield.
    Auto-repair Systems (Level 4): While out of combat The marauder gains additional regeneration.
  • Level 7(Utility)
    Auto-pilot (Level 7): Stops and resets Kinetic foam expiration time while disabled.
    Rude Awakening(Level 7): Allow Stim Cocktail activation while disabled but doubles cooldown when doing so.
    Replating systems (Level 7): After remaining out of combat, gains a shield

  • Level 13(Team fighting tools)
    Aftershock (Level 13): Point-blank Taser Round gains an additional charge.
    Voltaic Shells (Level 13): Consumes Point-blank Taser Round buff when firing Concussive Shell and applies it’s debuff to affected enemies
    Battle Discipline (Level 13): Activating Reshaping Assimilation doesn’t consume Kinetic Foam stacks.
    Level 17(Firepower)
    Twin Blasters (Level 17): Makes the marauder basic attacks ranged and deal splash damage around target units.
    Battlelust (Level 17): Hitting enemy heroes with Concussive Shell lowers Stims Cocktail and Point-blank Taser Round cooldowns.
    Obliterator (Level 17): After using a skill the next basic attack will deal bonus damage at increased speed.
    Oppression (Level 17): Deals bonus spell damage to disabled enemy heroes.
    Level 20(Storm)
    Heavy Arms: Gains a subability that casts the unselected Heroic Ability
    Unmatched Hardware: Passively gains a massive health bonus.
    Chemical Inspiration: Grants Stims Cocktail buff to nearby allies.
