Varian is a tank hero. If you pick Varian your team assumes you’re going to play TANK. Please remove the n00b trap lvl4 skills. Just give him a secondary Heroic appropriate for lvl4, but for the love of all that is holy remove meme blades and the “Sonya leap” heroics from Varian that make him a glasscannon. It’s absolute grief.
No , and no. What i usually do is before lv4 communicate with Varian players what talents they will gonna pick. Varian is situational hero. But yes , i understand your point. Usually they do pick wrong talents for example when actually a TANK build is needed. For example if we alrdy have a Tank , i dont care what build they will pick as Varian. I do love heroes with multiple talent builds , and i also hate when they dont know or they are unsure what build is needed. Its a team game , communicate with them. If its possible ofc. Hf.
I agree. There is where you communicate. But if the player is the only tank, then they should go tank. Atleast if the opponents has a tank

I have always been in favor for Varian needing to pick his Role before he Queues… Because this game is all about “Roles” and then this 1 hero in QM, can just pick whatever he wants.
It is in many cases just a tad unfair. Especially if the only tank in your team goes Twinblade again… It happens literaly 8/10 times. varian is a gigantic noob trap.
