I hope they have some sort of monitoring of the forums, but I did poke them on X as well.
But surely there is a red light blinking somewhere in the office when not a single EU player is online ^^

Same here. Just saying. But since not even blizzard cares about this game, it is unlike they fix it quick. Guess I am of to league of legends 
Pretty sure they got some sms-warning , normally when smthing happens there is always some1 on technical support .
Prolly it can’t roll-back the update or needs to contact some1 more qualified if the small update is schedule automatically.

Happy to hear this could be fixed relatively quickly, and thanks everyone who helped raise the issue.
It goes to show how much of a strong and vibrant community HOTS still has at its back!
That said, we’ll do our best to avoid outages in the future to make that point

It’s on maintenence and update mode. I have yet to see life support mode for the game.
My phone is broken so it isn’t me sending them an SMS-warning and I can no longer contact them.
