Whitemane "Nerf"

So, whats the whole idea behind Whitemane now? No mana at all, no “searing lash” to get it back. How is she supposed to play and what is that “OP” build I hear she got now she must go and nothing else?

I don’t understand either she basically can’t do anything now and her auto attack build sucks, I tried vs several teams and whenever I get close they just beat me up so far :slight_smile: also I never have any mana.

Junkrat feels the same btw nothing changed and he still good

So sad! I used to have super fun with her. She just feels extremely weak now :confused:

I dnt know much about WM… but some people saying she can stand ground against 2 or 3 assassins as well now. With constant AA. But of course, multiple stuns get her killed. Dont know yet, havent played her after the change. I did play before change but only in brawl

well I tried the build and I can guarantee you she cannot tank 2 or 3 people with that build she can hold her own a bit but is easily dps-ed down

i dont know, in the US forum some guy posted saying whiteman kept herself n her ally alive against 4 enemy, healing all damage they did. may b she had stacked hell of a lot from her E quest that gets her increased health n mana, but still, its hard to accept that she can reach tht high a health from just stacking, thts wht confused me, may be he exaggerating

I have no idea why Blizzard thought the new Whitemane with only a legit build in the AA one would be fun?

It do not even fit her character either. Would be more interesting to make her “purging” fires be more effective than a budget Tyrande with auto attacks…

Well I have to try out the AA build but it do not sound very fun at all.

can someone point me to the direction of OP build, because I don’t understand new WM? Its all about the X talent it seems, but I never liked it because its hard to land in the first place, I just used to go Q build because it was simple.

The AA build relys on 3 talents starting at level 7.
More dmg and range on auto attacks.
Then auto attacks increase Zeal.
Then auto attacks do double healing.

That’s it. Any thing else is up to you.
But i dontvsuggest that build unless you are really goid at playing Raynor. As in not getting hit but dealing dmg.

Her other builds are still viable, just harder. The searing lash spam is a build that puts out the best healing. But you need good CC on your team. Like Jaina.

The Inquisition build is great for debuffing the enemy divers. But puts out low healing. My suggestion is to play Whitemane with a support like Tassadar or Abathar. Focus on dmg, since high dmg results in the best burst healing.

If you solo heal with her, have a crowd control team on your side so you can easiely auto attack or land searing lash.

I tried auto attack build and did half the healing of enemy healer, and just now I lost two games where whitemane was healing, and people had half the healing of enemy healer again.

I think whitemane is sh** now…

Man, I used to like her so much (mainly because she was really powerful and also easy to play) but she really feels like she got nerfed now. I mean, the 50% damage reduction at lvl 13 is pretty good, but she runs out of mana fast and has no way of getting it back other than picking the damage ult - by the way, it was pretty funny to see them basically switch the cooldown of the ults like that.

I’d say her biggest problems really are the mana costs, even though she got nerfed in other areas.

I don’t understand why breaking working heroes by reworking them. The new Whitemane sucks hard, it’s like a Tyrande without a reliable heal and minus her cc. Her kit doesn’t match her supposed new play style. Her damage is gone, that means her burst heal is also gone. Where is the incentive in casting E when it barely does any damage? Why forcing all players into just 1 build by making all other talents so undertuned. What happened with the high skill ceiling = high reward playstyle heroes? You spoke about addressing her mana management and you did by literally leaving only 1 talent for it. I bet this is some kind of an out of season April’s fool joke.

So I been trying Hots again of late, testing out Whitemane. God she is so fryckking bad now. It seems there is this one way only to play her and it is boring.

Im severely disappointed at this remake. I did excellent with her before. Was a menace, never had mana problems with the searing lash gains mana return on hero hits.

Always out healed, always out gunned, why bother with Whitemane when you can pick Tyrande who does the same thing but has pretty good DPS/DMG output while Whitemane is pretty subpar.

And she did work, why rework her? Why is Blizzard so fascinated in REWORKS? I was disappointed in the Sylvanas rework but atleast she is still effective. Whitemane is more boring to play, feels weaker and has about 1 proper way to play her unless you want a “hard time” where there is other high risk, high reward healers in comparison.
