I don’t get why people need to talk in extremes.
5v5 wasn’t a “failure”. You just don’t like it as much.
Which ever mode the go with, the same problems will exist.
Its not that 5 v 5 is bad, its OW2 rebalance thats just terrible. Id play whatever mode makes the game feel as close to classic as possible. Honestly alot of the times i just wish they kept the games seperate like they do to WoW’s and Diablos. Letting people play the old game if they liked it better.
No, this mod is fine. Blizzard just tried to make us not like this version of 6 vs 6, since going back to the basis of the first overwatch would be a huge hypocrisy, considering that they have already cancelled the promised PVE.

Just as 5v5 is fine.
Either will do going forward. They should just make a choice and stick to it and make it the game they want it to be.
Sadly, it’s a live service game, they need to pander to people crying to as they need them to spend money.
True. But I’ve never understood the hate on that decision. It was clearly a doomed project. And no one got into playing overwatch because of PvE. They got in to it because at its core it’s the best team based shooter(ish) game on the market.
Hopefully rivals can inspire them to push on, success breeds success and all that.
