8 HOUR supension (someone please explain)

I been struggling a lot with climbing since i mostly play healer but today something very confusing happened and i hope someone can explain why.

Ok soo i understand that if i disconnect from a game i will lose 50 sr, and i am totally fine with that, but the fact that this week i only disconnected out of two comp games (today being my second one) and i got an 8 HOUR suspension is a bit crap. This is totally bs and if anyone could explain why that would be great.
(P.S im reeeeallly mad about this)

You are likely disconnecting multiple games every week not just these. Fix your connection/internet first before playing comp and causing losses

Invalid. I don’t cause loss if I’m back in preparation time.
Yet I get penalty while the dude who leaves mid game on purpose and returns on the end receives what, -16 rating lol.

Ofc net and PC has to be fixed. But then we should advertise the game as : important, if you don’t have a gtx1080ti and a super stable internet you’ll get penalized regularly.

When do you people understand there just isn’t some final fix for it if you’re on 4G broadband…

You left… end of. Probably got reported multiple times. Disconect or purposely leaving are still the same thing.

fix the reason you dc, like are you crashing or is your isp crap ? then go call isp get issue fixed or get better isp.

Just because you’ve learned a fancy word, you shouldn’t misuse it. Wireless connections’ struggles in competitive are due to packet loss and much stricter connection rules set by Blizzard, for absolutely no reason.

If you disconnect it will probably take you a minute or so to reconnect and that’s enough to cause the loss for your team.
You must have been reported by your team mates and possible even the enemy team for the suspension and I believe it’s in place. If you’re the reason your team loses you should find a fix or just don’t play comp.
Being from a 3rd world country that has VoIP banned, very bad internet speeds and a lot of packet loss problems, it takes me about an hour of preparation and testing daily just to play a match of comp.
If I have packet loss I don’t queue up.
If I have over 120 ms I don’t queue up.
If VPN won’t connect which means I can’t use voice chat in game, I don’t queue up.
Follow these steps and don’t ruin other players’ matches, I’ve really had enough of losing SR because of leavers.

I was once on vacation in Canada and brought my company laptop. Played some games and realized i dc twice in a qp. Which gave me the message for leaving a lot of games. So why should I force myself into bad games? I started Hearstone, SoT or Osu! And tried ow in a better wifi. And was verry happy to use my tower again for ow after the holidays.

Meaningless to say I didn’t even try comp on my vacation (at home I play on 165fps on a huge mouse pad on low dpi) which wasn’t doable on the laptop so I ofc didn’t even try comp. And couldn’t play tracer for example. I just played wudow and junk, widow bc i could somehow aim with the sense.

But I can feel the pain from a 3rd world country with bad networks and verry bad it infrastructures. Its a hell (i feel it every time I leave my country (Switzerland) and enjoy another country. Luckily I don’t require a lot of bandwidth on my holidays but ppl life there… Must be awful :frowning: (bc of the network not bc. Of the country)

Whats 4g broadband? Dsl? Cable?mobile/wireless?

If its mobile/wireless/satellite you will have no have good upload speeds which is important. Download speeds are just one aspect
