Why complain about mei when hanzo is the same as well? Why not complain about him? And tracer?
Hanzos ult is very, very easy to dodge and only really good with zaryas ult. Him alone is no problem.
Same with tracer. You only get 1 or 2 with it, if you MANAGE to stick it.
This isn’t even remotely the same.
But it’s still something right, and what do you even mean by countering a charging ult O.O don’t you get what @illuminati was saying? Counter it while Mei is throwing it or something -.-
When i’ve been playing hanzo i’ve often not needed zarya to get a good use from my ult. Many people have died in it. So that’s false in a way, you don’t always need Zarya to help you, i mean it’s a good combo but you don’t always need her.
And if you can’t counter mei’s ult then your team is pretty bad, like me playing d.va i probably ate the enemy mei’s ult like 5 times in one game or so. Jsut pick a hero that can counter her instead of being salty.
This isn’t about her being countered or not. It’s about it charges too quick.
Other heroes have fast charing ults as well, why don’t you talk about them too, why only care about mei? What makes her so special?

Holy crap… I just told you about hanzo and tracer and gave you reasons why their ults can charge quick because they aren’t as devastating. Can’t people on this forum read?

Ok, let me get this straight. It doesn’t matter for you how fast an ult charges, even if it’s once every second, unless there is a counter? This is how you argue?
I mean it’s better if you have a counter so you can easily “defeat” the ult or something i don’t know hw to explain it lol or you can try to run away from the ult or something. I’m not really in the middle when fighting since i play widow and d.va who can fly out of her ult or eat it.
But it’s true what you say, i mean i can agree. Sometimes it’s really annoying how some ults charge faster than others but i don’t know if there will be a change to that, you will just have to accept it as it is. But sometimes i really don’t care, i play the game to have fun and doing what i love, i don’t always go full on serious and think about every little details etc.

I agree with you. But this isn’t realistic. Mei’s ultimate is hard to counter. It’s possible, but it’s not like Genji’s or smthing. 9 times out of 10 you can’t stop it. But she is punished with the animation time so I think that compensates for it.
Yeah no i agree, it’s not really THAT easy to counter mei’s ult while she’s throwing it, maybe the mei’s i’ve been playing against have been bad at throwing the ult why i keep eating it as d.va very often.
Yeah sometimes i even get confused when our or the enemy mei throws their ults and it takes like a few minutes for it to appear, but they only gave her an animation so her ult wouldn’t be that OP and such.
Oh the difficulty of escaping an AOE that doesnt even start until the lenghty animation went through, and that applies its damage and freezing effect over time. NERF! TO THE GROUND!
Oh you mean the 0.01 second escape time? Yea it’s HUUUGE.
There is plenty of time to escape before frozen solid unless you have one of the movement impaired toons like Zen and are in the wrong spot to start with. But even then, it’s the only dps AOE ultimate that doesn’t outright kill anybody and Mei herself won’t be able to deliver more than 2-3 headshots due to her slow rate of fire. Seems fair enough to me, especially Since Mei needs to do considerable damage to charge up quickly.

Mei ult is fine. And is fun. You’re right. It’s clearly l2p issue. There are faster charging ults with bigger potential. If people feel meing is so easy than it looks they should try.
i mean idk about mei, but what the point to complain about hanzo , blizzard clearly not willing to nerf the really problematic parts of hanzo
they just increased his lunge ability cd by 1 sec
