why do you not switch when it isnt working? i arnt saying your bad or ote like that. all i ask is play a bit of qp get used too counters and such things like this then in comp you know how to counter every hero and which ones your best at.

Asking a blanket question like this on a general forum won’t work because most DPS players actually do switch if they’re getting owned. It’s the minority that doesn’t switch, the Widow who is getting outsniped, the Pharah who is constantly dying to double hitscan, but it’s definitely not the majority of them.
It’s like making a thread asking “Men, why do you all cheat?”.

1 i play healer or dps 2 i am talking to the 2 percent that jump into comp at lvl 25 i think comp should be level hundred because then you actually get a understanding for the game
Firstly
I jumped into comp at level 25. I enjoy comp alot compared to the idiocy of QP where noone knows how to play properly.
Secondly
Level 100 is an insane amount of xp to get. I almost died trying to get from level 20 to level 25.
20 hours should be more than enough time to get the basics locked in. With time, you will position better, but that comes from Comp where you get punished more from bad mistakes.
Thirdly
I think comp should have a 10 levels non ranked mode, to get you used to it and the system to put you properly in where you belong

agree In principal, but disagree in practice, because it encourages smurfs
lvl 100 would have discouraged smurfing if it was enacted right away but now, it would have no effect, and no 20 hours is not enough to get the basics of this game, not with the amount of heros there are and maps there are… its no where near enough
that’s what the 25 lvls of QP matches are supposed to do, but with the god awful matchmaking system and smurfs, it wouldn’t make a difference

Expecting DPS to master 18 heroes is a bit silly, don’t you think? Especially when the aim styles of different heroes have nothing to do with their role.

I never switch when told to, and I don’t intend to start because of some rando on the forums lmfao.
I will jolly well switch when I feel like switching, not when some rando thinks they’re an expert on overwatch in diamond.
I do however like people giving suggestions, but forcibily telling somebody to do something rarely works out in your (or your teams) favour, and because of that I consider telling people to switch their hero soft-throwing.

This game isn’t designed to constantly switch heroes. If they would remove these stupid ultimates that need to be charged more people might switch, because people would think differently about the game and would play with a different mindset. And they would create a much better game in the process, but that’s not the point.
Right now it’s all about getting ults and using them efficiently. So who in their right mind would switch to a hero they don’t play as well just to please some random teammate they have no connection to and will probably never see again?

You are totally wrong. After hero pools this game is not counter game anymore.
as apposed to double sniper/double flanker comps that cant be countered unless you have better sniper/flanker players than they do?
The most dps who do not switch are the ones playing in the lower Ranks like Bronze, Silver and Gold.

it is nobody attitude but the blizzard team attitude itself . it is not the community but the developer who shapes the attitude of the community .
no it really isnt it is a brilliant game, it is the players attitudes because people dont use brain anymore.no body switches bad picks and selfish players thet is why 2-2-2 come in to it, this is why hero pools are coming into it. the devalopers made the game but cant fix it because 50% of games are free wins for enemy team.
