About having every skin available

Will they all be in the aniversary boxes, will we be able to choose or does it depend on like the game we played (junks revenge will give halloween skins etc)?

as far as I know, at the event we could unlock every hero skin we want, which probably means it’s possible to get them via loot boxes like any other skin

I believe Jeff Kaplan stated in the Dev’s Update that lootboxes might contain skins from ANY event, so I guess it’ll be like that : only 1 type of event lootboxes, which can deliver any of the game’s cosmetics (outisde of achievements).
I believe the unlocking former event game modes was made to permit players to unlock achievment-related cosmetics (like uprising sprays, junkerstein’s sprays, etc…)

And this will make it much harder to get the items you want, if they dont increase drop rate or give double xp…

So probably not every skin, like Noire Widowmaker and BlizzCon skins.

Jeff Kaplan stated that loot boxes will turn into Anniversary loot boxes, similar to last year. Each box contains at least one guaranteed Anniversary item. On top of that, it is also possible to acquire any skin from previous seasonal events from those Anniversary boxes, therefore excluding promotional skins like Noire Widowmaker, BlizzCon 2016 Bastion, BlizzCon 2017 Winston and Pink Mercy. To answer your initial question, the game mode you’re playing shouldn’t affect the items you’ll get out of your boxes at all. :innocent:

But still, more loot = less chance of getting what you want… With all legendary from previous event, there is a smaller chance of getting that legendary you want… And when you have every anniversary item you will only get dupes, and again minimize the chances… Thats how I hear it anyway…

I may be misinterpreting what he is saying but how he says “Anniversary loot box” and not “Anniversary loot boxes” makes me feel that he is talking about the loot box they give for free at the start of the event only.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think that we will get a guaranteed event skin out of each and every loot box obtained during the event.

Again I could be very much wrong about that, it just seems too good to be true. And when that is the case it usually is too good to be true.

I just wouldn’t get hopes up about easily obtaining the skins.

All loot boxes earned through leveling up during Anniversary are to be Anniversay Loot Boxes.

The loot box given away at the start of the event is a Legendary Anniversary Loot Box, one you’ll only get at the start of the event and with the purchase of 30 or 50 loot boxes in the store during the Anniversary event.

The difference between those and the regular Anniversary Boxes is that Legendary ones contain at least one non-dupe legendary.

Both types of boxes will contain at least one of the items from the current Anniversary’s new additions, as well as possibly containing an item from any of the past seasonal events.

Sounds like a lot of dupes if you have everything from previous events…

You don’t have everything from the new Anniversary yet, so I guess if you have all other legendaries, you can pretty much narrow which legendary you’ll be getting down :wink:

There going to be releasing special event skins shortly the green poster is wrong especially when Kaplan over turn his statement.

If I am not completely wrong you can even buy all the event skins for 1-3k credits, but I might be wrong about this.
