If it is trolly/fake stuff then proof it was a fake report and to have the reporter face some karma.
Why I say only videos in-game with the report is used, not handed in an email or something ya know? The report of theplayer would take the video from the last match they were both in. That way no way to fake or edit videos as it is all in-game.

Because like Myrion said, it can easily be edited to support the submitter’s point of view or even be faked. There might also be some privacy issues involved when people’s voices are recorded.
Text chats are way easier to get verified by Blizzard themself’s because it happens on their side.
Nope, you didn’t understand, I meant it as, once you report in-game, a video of the match which cannot be SAVED OR EDITED will be sent along with the report automaticly. It is not a video the user can save and edit to their worlds content.
Ah ok misunderstood. I don’t think that would be possible because that would take too much storage space and valueable processing power. Also if there’s voice included, there still would be privacy issues, not only to the offender but also to innocent people and since you can’t really judge a situation without hearing the context from two (or more) sides, other people’s voices would need to be included too.

Why it would have the entire video, since Blizzard has a system where you can look from other players views they can easily switch between which hero to see what they are doing but yeah most likely takes too much time and such so just better to blind-sight and accept the report as it is. Much to the public outcries.
Well right now, we have a “wisdom of the crowd” kind of thing.
If you’re never toxic, you get a few false reports - no harm done (and no harm should be done).
If you’re rarely toxic, you get a few correct and a few false reports - no harm done (and no harm should be done).
If you’re regularly toxic, you get a load of correct reports and maybe a few false ones - you will get punished (and should get punished).
I’m an outspoken person who adresses tactics and asks people to swap on occasion. I’ve never received any warnings and only once has someone said they’d report me (it was in PvE mode where I played Torb and used the melee weapon in addition to the turret, so I still wound up with gold everything despite being reported for throwing^^). So you can’t tell me that if you behave like a grown-up, you get banned for nothing, but at the flipside of things, even if the other person is hella toxic - what if that’s the only occasion in their entire life? Unlikely, true. And there are a few things where even if it’s the only time, I’d support punishment (like directly threatening people, heavily racist tirads), but where would we draw the line? If a second kind of reporting becomes much more of a hassle to do, it will be less about how often people are banworthy, but more about how often someone will take a few minutes out of their precious gaming time to properly report them. And even then, we’d need more humans to supervise the process and make those decisions.
At the end of the day, if you find a person that’s heavily toxic - just report them. Either they are like that on a regular basis in which case they’ll be soon gone. Or they aren’t. And yeah, they might have impacted your own day with their toxicity, but if they are chill and maybe even helpful most of the time - maybe they don’t deserve the ban. Maybe they just had the worst day, the worst game with the worst toxic people and they needed that single game to vent. Should they have done it? No. But humans are humans. Nobody is perfect, everyone is somewhere on the spectrum from Buddha to xQc.

Until we get shown some real stats in game people are gonna get alot of false reports, that’s just how it is. I’ve had healers standing in our spawn, dancing all game, and some other clueless r*tard on the team still whines about how bad the DPS is. As soon as another decent game comes out I’m done with this game.
If you request further information and appeal against your suspension, they will probably reply outlining a numerous number of things that you said that were considered as abusive chat. You have to rack up a number of reports before you are suspended.
