I tried a GOATS comp in QP w 6 ppl who had mic. A couple of them were high diamond so we had good competition. We had mixed success. One time they had a mei and a torb and a doom that caused us problems.
Another game had a reaper and bastion.
Any suggestions on adaptions
In pro games, sometimes the Zarya is swapped for a DPS like a Mccree or Hanzo, which would be effective against the Doomfist and Torb that were causing you problems. Another adaptation that isn’t really relevant to your examples but could be useful is trading a Moria for an Ana, which creates a slightly more defensive GOATS comp (ideal for 2CP defence, maybe).
