I don’t think it’s needed that much. They seem to manage the volume internally. Maybe it’s a good thing, otherwise everyone would sound at different volume levels

I would not say it is a good thing, it is really frustrating and annoying not to be able to even breathe without the microphone activating. Also I hear a lot of people typing on their keyboard. It can’t be true that this is the way it is meant to be.
Almost ALL other games that has voice chat gives you the ability to adjust your mic sensitivity.

While I don’t agree with the ferocity of OP, it is true that the open mic activation threshold should be adjustable. It’s just basic common sense, because push-to-talk is never an option… unless you got more fingers than me, in which case… ewww!
