So. I play fortnite at 800dpi and 0.05, my scoped and ads sens are 0.47 And I tried to use them calculators and measure 360 distance but having the same sens doesn’t work. Whenever I go on it, it feels too fast or slow. I play on 4 at 800dpi on overwatch. I’d like to think my aim is good on fortnite but I just can’t aim on overwatch. I don’t have mouse acc. On and my Windows is on 6/11. I don’t know where it’s the change of fov or pov but I just want to know how I can aim the same on bo5h games.
Thanks
Afaik overwatch uses raw input. So mouse accel and windows sense won’t matter.
DPI and in game sense are it. Yours is on the lower end, but if you can do a 180 it’s fine.
Aim isn’t THE most important thing in this game. Positioning and gamesense are equally or more important depending on what you play.
Low sens and high DPI is the way to go for you, most likely.
The higher the DPI, the less pixel skipping you will see.
Mid-high sens and mid-low DPI (typically something like 6 sens, 800 dpi) has been making the rounds as some kind of miracle cure because some streamers and pros use it. However, they use that because they’ve trained themselves to use it. If you want pinpoint accuracy without needing to swipe the mouse 1 meter in either direction to do a 180, go for low sens and high DPI.
Try something like 2-3 sens and 1200-1600 DPI. It’s better to set a low sens like that and fiddle around with the DPI, in my own experience - I go as high as 3200-4000 when playing a twitchier character. Or use a mouse with several DPI settings on a quick command, of course.
But in the end, just use the settings that suit you best. There is no miracle cure. All I can give you is my own experiences and the fact that there is less pixel skipping with high DPI. Only you can figure out which setting is best for you. Use the training room. It’s there for a reason.
I will do, it’s just that when aim on fortnite it’s so much better than overwatch and it’s the same sens
They’re different game engines.
You’re probably never going to get exactly the same “feel” when switching. Hopefully you can find one that works for you, though.
