Im a 3k reinhardt player with an alt account that i try to only play DPS on, which im terrible at btw. Occasionally i will be forced onto a main tank and there i am playing Reinhardt in a mid gold game. Its so easy and i feel like a scumbag as most of the time we just roll through the enemy.
I never force a team comp with 222 etc, ive only ever done it when my team starts to get pissy.
What should i do in these situations?
If you want to practice DPS on it, instalock that. If you feel you can’t stay on DPS and have to play Main Tank, then just play through it. You’ll end up playing DPS most of the time, so don’t worry too much. You’ll have an occasional unfair game, but presumably, the account is low simply because you need to grind your DPS mechanics, and not purposely deranked. In that case, there’s really no issue imo.
I don’t know how you can solve the problem but I know how to avoid those.
Use the LFG tool to find a preassembled team. When using random Matchmaking, you are forced to adabt to the situation, leaving you no choise than to pick a main tank. However, if you use the LFG tool, you can find a group that is looking for a player playing DPS only.
oh yeah, lfg is a thing
