Just a little topic about the upcoming anniversary event info to prevent the forums flooding with topics about it; Will update as more info becomes known/available to me :slight_smile: Feel free to ask/reply/add in here.

  • Brigitte Berserker Skin!

  • Orisa Cenarius Skin!

  • Doomfist Formal Skin!

  • Symmetra Zatanna/magician Skin!

  • Torbjorn Cyborg Skin!

  • Lucio Neon Skin!

  • ALL previous event skins and unlockables will be available in regular lootboxes during the event…

  • Free weekend during the event, on the weekend of May 25th untill May 28th

  • New deathmatch map: Petra

  • Legendary Lootbox added to the game with 1 non-dupe Legendary in it, one is given at login during the anniversary event, one will be given with every 30/50 (number still uncomfirmed) loot boxes purchased (Still no word on the purchase minimum for additional Legendary boxes)

  • Competitive Deathmatch for the duration of the event, with spray and player icon rewards for participation and Top 500

  • Daily Brawl will be a random event from the past: Events to be included in this Daily Brawl rotation are Junkenstein’s Revenge, Mei’s Snowball mode, Uprising, Retribution and Lucioball in almost all of their different modes

I thought it was confirmed that only purchases of 50 loot boxes gets a legendary lootbox? but I could be wrong

Also I will be in bronze because I cannot play deathmatch at all. I cannot grasp it. elimination 1vs 1 and 3vs3 I am ok with

Will they increase the drop rates (by a lot) of legendary since there in this event will be MUCH more loot to get, but still only 3 weeks to get it?.. More loot = less chance of getting what you want…

No word about that specifically. I think it’s fair to keep drop chances the same across the board so the people who did grind their butts off during the actual events as they took place aren’t “punished” for their efforts :wink:

I agree… I am one of those who have nearly everything from past events… But the chances are still a lot smaller of getting legendary from this event, as I might just get dubes from the last events and normal legendary…

Edited some of the info regarding skins; initial leaks/reports said there were to be 10-11 new legendary skins. I’ve been deducting the revealed skins from the legendary total but now it’s been revealed on the official OW twitter account through recent edits on the reveals there that the revealed skins so far are :sparkles:Epics:sparkles: and not :sunny:Legendaries :sunny:, possibly meaning that there’s alot more skins to look forward to :slight_smile:

The Chinese Overwatch Team has leaked the skins‽ I love the Bastion skin and Orisas! But mainly bastion. Still no news on when DVa will get an event skin. She should get a pumpkin skin for the Halloween Event!

My suspicions were right. when you buy 50 Loot boxes you get a Golden one in the event and only in the event!
