Anyone else thinks hazard could use a dmg boost?

Not necessarly a big one because of how his kit work but as of right now he may as well not atk when holding the line because their hp wont even move provided the enemy healers are somewhat doing their job.

Like, compare him to d.va. she got better mobility than him, better personal defensive tool than him and better dmg than him. His skills are great but they all revolve around helping the team get in position to be able to kill. If the team doesn’t follow up or dies for no reason while you are doing so then chances are you will die. You can’t actually defend yourself against an enemy team even if its to buy time because even turtling isn’t an option in that case.

He’s like a frontline support essentially. He’s a really good hunter for targets that are already low ish on hp but he have a hard time actually getting them to that point. He can’t turn his back to the enemy tank unless the team is enough of a distraction and diving in isn’t that fast either because his dmg isn’t that high to begin with. This means your life is already kinda low for comfort or that your team may already be dead before you could get back in the fray.

You can’t just go in, grab your squishy kill and get out so you have to be rather careful of when you want to dive or its walking all the way from spawn point for you. Not only that, since he kills pretty slow, your dives often(pretty much always) turn into 2v1 or 3v1. Sometimes even the entire team if you are unlucky.

Hence why I say he does need a bit of a dmg amp. As of right now he isn’t a threat unless the rest of the team understands how to use his openings and can even use them.

He’s waaay too dependant on the team to do anything right now tbh.

No tank should do everything.

Having situations where Hazard is better than D.Va is good. and the other way round. That is how heroes should be designed.

As for his mobility, already seeing some crazy clips online. I think you will get surprised from time to time.

He seems a little more in the JQ mould, High damage if you can get up close. You need to brawl as a team to get the value, then he can dive in and finish people off… using his wall to trap people for the kill.

Could be some fun comps out there. Could be an interesting option in Open Queue too.

I’m not saying he needs a big boost to his gun dmg. Just a slight one so he isn’t so overly reliant on his own team.

He is absolutely a good hunter, maybe the best one in the game but his dmg drops off like a rock when you got basically any range in between you and the enemy and it isn’t always feasible to jump in because he can’t take too much heat when focused down.

He’s very good when the team is doing well, he is kinda eh when the team isn’t doing that hot is more or less my take on him. Its very difficult for him to push if the team isn’t up to par which can be incredibly annoying because it doesn’t feel like it’s your fault

I’m not saying I disagree… But also Rein, JQ both need team support to get up close and personal.

Hazard is just another on for the brawl comp pot.
