i just did 3 games of ranked on NA to test my ping bc i wanna team up with someone who lives in america soon and the games in my elo(hi silver - lo gold) were almost laughably easy
the ping was abt 180 so not rly great but honestly didnt feel that different after a lil moment than playing EU
is your experience playing on NA similar? or did i just get lucky/got carried?
Alot of players in America have a ping of around 50 - 150 or so, so ping really isn’t anything different.
I wouldn’t say it’s easier, you might find some issues soon.

Well, it’s the same game so I doubt it will be easier or harder, but the main difference you might find is maybe less toxicity here in NA servers. This is based on what others have told me on the forums. I live in NA and occasionally play a few games on EU servers, also with 180ish ping, and I haven’t noticed much difference. If anything, the few games I played on EU, people were less vocal than in NA games. But even NA games you’ll probably only get a vocal team with everyone in vc in around 1/5 games.
I would play on EU more but the ping is annoying.

nah i just meant the games feel waay easier like the pace is much more like bronze than almost gold? i played some more and honestly it s rly fun feels like QP lol toxicity is same except i can understand what s being said 100% of the time instead of about 30% of the time on EU and i finally got the courage to pistol mercy around(srsly NA ashe/soldier/widows just. stand there. i d get deleted so hard if i pulled that in EU lol)

They are easier, yes.
I’m from Belgium, I played EU Season 1 through 7, moved to NA and started playing again Season 18 until now.
I get 120 ping to JP servers so I usually play asia as well.
In terms of difficulty:
- Asia
- EU
- NA
From my experience toxicity is the same in NA and EU, NA is just less funny more ‘end yourself’ and EU is more ‘I banged ur mom’.
The overall skill is definitely lower in NA. There’s a reason NA OWL teams go to bootcamps in KR.
