Ashe feels way too strong

First new character Ive played against that has equal or good match ups against every character on the roster. The ult is way to strong, its supposed to feel like a torb turret but it feels like a bastion. The dynamite is way too powerful for someone with a gun that does as much damage as hers. She is strong at every position, close range, mid range and distant. The only character that even begins to feel like a hard counter is doomfist. Nerf pls.

Every character seems too strong on launch. Wait 2 seasons and then come back.

Ashe is my fav widowmaker skin it actually lets you quick scope.

You’ll probably find that she is extremely strong currently to counter the Goats comp in a non frustrating way (doomfist/sombra)

Well I think she’s great.

I was hoping that they’d add in a hero like this. She’s strong, reliable, will be super popular because she’s a sexy cowgirl, she makes people feel like they’re badass snipers whilst still being a sustain DPSer. She synergies well with Mercy. She’s not a janky flanker. She isn’t a “death ball” or “goats” type of hero.

Like, I have zero intention of playing her myself, but her inclusion is brilliant and I can’t wait to see her hit comp.

I even think she’ll be fun to play against. If an Ashe kills me then bravo to her. I don’t get that feeling when I die to a cheesy hero like Doomfist. Dying to an Ashe feels like she earned that kill.

So ya, fun hero to play beside, against and I imagine a fun hero to play as for the DPS crowd. Wins all around imo.

Ashe is fine except her ult. Bob is strong on his own and can take down 1-3 enemies easily. Large hp pool and ability to recieve healing and boosts is way too strong. It’s like having +1 teammate who actually can aim and plays on D.Va with Torb’s turret.
Those things must be tweaked for him to be more tanky but have less damage or vice-versa.

I honestly haven’t had the chance to play her yet. Every game I go in to someone picks her straight away!

Well that, and the fact that since the update I get to play one match then I get disconnected. Then it takes me at least 10 rounds of error 202 and several power cycles to get back into the game.

i thought the samething too at first, but came to realise, NO she’s not that OP, why?

  1. Yes her ult is powerful if you’re a squishy and you stand in its firing range, BUT the ult actually doesn’t last forever, you can either destroy bob OR hide until the ult ends. Everyone seems to fight bob when you don’t need to and commit suicide i.e its your own fault

only time it seems b.s is when they throw it and it ends up behind you, so you are sandwiched by bob and the enemy team, no defence at all. If you’re thrown in the air there’s no way to run away as it starts shooting before you land.

Otherwise its no biggy, i’ve had a pharah waste my team, i had thrown my bob, and thought maybe i can still get her, nope she use her ult to destroy bob before it could fire a shot (i.e ashe’s ult CAN be stopped)

  1. dynamite, its not that powerful, BUT it feels that way because it has a AOE I.e it burns and it won’t stop unless you a) use a hero that can phase to nullify the AOE or take a medikit…or you let it burn its course

she’s fine as is, at most id say allow healers to deal with the AOE, because currently healing does NOT put out the flames

everybody is a hard counter to ashe, why only doomfist?

on 2500+ bob is extremely lucky to kill at least 1 or 2 heros
on most time he just shoot shield or sleep or just die before he even start shoot

what i dont like about ashe is her survivability she can defend herself way too easy like even if she doesnt have shift she can just throw a dynamite on ground shoot it and take half damage you would assume ranged heroes would be weak in close range but not in ow

Lol you do realise Ashe has damage fall off right? Bob isn’t too strong, in fact in the current meta he does nothing. Also, pretty easy to dodge.

Most ults in the game can’t be shut down - but Bob is easy to shut down - here are some of the most popular ones used even in bronze:
Ana sleep dart,
Mei ice wall,
Tank shield,
Lucio boop him off the point or the map,
Hog hook him off to some irrelevant place (Hog can turn 90degree to put him off a ledge or say into a well),
Reaper at zero range shooting him in the face,
and many more…

Ashe is deliberately designed to be weak in close range - it wouldn’t make sense to have 2 hitscans that do the same thing - we already have mcree whos close range stun and fan is feared by pretty much any hero in the game. Most hybermobile heros easymode Ashe if they go close range with her. Also she has severe damage drop off at long range - not to the point of being useless but definitely not strong. Mid range is what she is designed for.

Doomfist is a hard counter to Ashe because her coachgun has NO EFFECT on his charge (punch), no boop nor dmg. You may find some DFs at low rank who don’t know this but most do.

If Ashe throws a stick of dyno at her own feet it’s just a last desparate move - she knows she is going down - wouldn’t call that being strong at close range even if it stops a Genjis killing spree.

You can use coach gun under your feet to avoid the punch tho
