Ashe's Gun Feedback. Constructive

I like the hero a lot, I think mechanically it suits me very well as a player. Ashe has a good working range, nice vertical mobility and fun skill rewarding grenade.

But the gun feels soooo clunky. I did not know why it felt like that and was thinking much about it and finally got answers. Here’s two main concerns:

  1. Recoil compensation. This one is subjective, but as a new hero I forgot to turn it off. If you don’t feel good about Ashe’s gun too, check this setting first. I could not play Mccree with that option enabled either.
  2. The main one: The gun does not have visual feedback when it’s ready to shoot and when it’s not. And it feels very-very frustrating!
    Here’s how it usually happens in the eyes of a player:
    You see an enemy - you hit your first shot. Than things starting to get rather hot, you use cds, like jumping upwards with Shift. In the air you see a low hp enemy, you scope in, everything is fine, you press a mouse to shoot - AND NOTHING HAPPENS! Because the gun is somehow’s not ready! And it feels awful, you could have made a HUGE play, instead the game just says Nope to you.

If you could add some visual and more prominent audio feedback to Ashe’s gun cd, that would be just great for this hero. At least subjectively. Jeff said you spend a lot of time making this gun super fun to shoot with. It’s nice when the gun shoots, but it does not shoot everytime, it’s kind of a problem.
