Auto open loot box script. Cheating?

Hey,

With the anniversary event coming up I am looking forward to opening a bunch of loot boxes that I’ve saved for an entire year, around 1030 or so
in total since the last anniversary event.

I was wondering if it would be considered “cheating” if I write a small script to click the open loot box button for me?

Any suggestions regarding this topic are appreciated

You do realise that loot contents are set in stone the second you get them, right?

That aside, I think it’s as easy as getting a macro to press enter repeatedly for as long as you hold down the key or toggle it. Since you’re not interfering directly with gameplay, I don’t think it’d be a problem.

Yeah I understand they are set in stone when you get them.

It was more a personal challenge to see if I could not press that button for a year.

Alright, just checking before we get replies on here about not getting sweet Anniversary loots

That said, there’s no real gameplay you are interfering with. As long as it’s the macro/script equivalent of having a drinking bird toy tap a button in the menus, you’d be perfectly fine.

If you use it in any in game situation, i.e.; during a match, you’d be in trouble if you were to be reported. But in the menus it ought to be perfectly fine.

Looking forward to the Youtube link to the massive 1k+ loot box opening

 I will try and record it but I’m not sure my hard disk is big enough.

Just do what Dafran did a while ago: put something heavy on your keyboard (dunno which button but im sure you can figure it out) and come back after a couple of hours. Voila, all your boxes are opened.

What button would that be and why isn’t there a “open all loot boxes” button still??
-Apparantly it’s the spacebar.

I wouldn’t worry about that if it was me.
Someone who isn’t me didn’t feel like sitting an hour or so unboxing his 800 boxes and did the same. You don’t even need to use a script. You can stick a match or something in your keyboard and keep your space bar pressed.

You’re not IN a game after all and it’s not your fault the game doesn’t provide you the feature to take care of that many boxes. I really don’t understand why they don’t have that in the game.
