Why hasn’t anyone fixed this already for more than 2 years… We are forced to join a game with defeat stuck on screen, or 2 seconds to the end which you can’ t even run to the objective.
Well… you get 400 XP for backfilling…
The reason why you backfill a game, that is basically lost, is because there’s still a little chance to turn the tide.
Also, it actually shouldn’t be that bothersome because you can leave the game immediately. You just wasted around 2 seconds and you even get 400XP as a compensation.
When that happenes 3 times in a row including search it is pretty bothersome.
By the way you are on forums more than you are in game and comment every little topic. Even real blizzard staff does not work as much as you
there still aint a chance to turn the tide as you call it, when you enter a freaking game, and you hear “Defeat”… so annoying
I’m not specifically talking about those games but rather game sessions where you are really close at a defeat yet you could still turn the tide.
I’ve seen teams with a leaver winning and I’ve seen games where the team turned the tide at the last second so there is a small chance.
However, it does confuse me why they let players join after the defeat sign… Oh wait, they actually don’t. You actually join the game before the game ends but your game has to load first which takes some time, leading you to see that “defeat” on your screen.
The problem is that you can’t exactly determine a time where you don’t let players join because the system can’t determine when a game exactly ends.
Have you tried staying in the game after the defeat? The lobby usually restarts and get filled with new players.
Your chance of “happening it 3 times in a row” would be a lot smaller then.
If that doesn’t work then you only can desperately try to stay optimistic.
“I can’t play the game properly but at least I got 1200xp for nothing… yaaay”
I get bored by games rather quickly so I usually draw or rot on this forum when I have nothing better to do. I kinda like to discuss which is why my classmates only gave me permissions to join discussions after 11 o’ clock.
