How can it be that i get banned for saying the small and friendly stuff while other players are free to go insulting me fully without beeing penalized?
How do you know they arenât being penalised?
Also, the way the system works is it counts matches reported in (not total reports). So being reported 5 times in a game only classes as 1.
So, if youâve been actioned, it means youâre getting reported in a lot of your matches.
And if they arenât being actioned, it could be theyâve said something to you, but not said anything in other games.
Which makes me think your actions might have rubbed them up the wrong way somehow

well i am just assuming that it is a penalty from text chat since the email isnt saying what it directly was. if it may have been cause of voice then it has to be cause ppl thought i was insulting them while i was just cussing at myself since i never took a name in my mouth, only if i tryed to ask for help or so

I have never been reported in 8 years but this year. Why? Cause, F2P game result, kids report for anything and everything they dislike. It can be even your skin they donât like and they report. Blizz doesnât control if the player deserves a report or not. Blizz doesnât want us to chat and enjoy the game anymore. They donât care.
Itâs been F2P for nearly 2 years. That wonât be the change.
It might be the systems have learnt what is and isnât acceptable and are now far quicker to stamp it out.
Could also be that they know they have a healthy player base, so they can be quicker and harsher with punishments and it wonât harm them.
I disagree. As a mercy, boosting a tank or saying âwaste of timeâ in a losing game shouldnât be a reason for a ban. It is not abusive, or insulting, it is not something it should be argued over either. This is actually what it is in the answer from Blizz after asking them 10 times for why I am being banned. Oh and I also got reported cause I had a âdevilâ word in my name. Forced to change my name. I find it ridiculous and only kids would report such things. They want us to turn off chat and not communicate. Thatâs what I did. Their system is broken. And if they want a healthy player base game they should ban swearing and abuse and ones that have inappropriate names.

But others may seem it disruptive, and hence the report. Each to their own. Itâs always a line you have to dance if you engage with communication.
Use âpush to talkâ to avoid this happening in the future. That way people canât misunderstand you cussing yourself out, because they canât hear it.
And now, they donât have a good system. they donât actually read the chat. they donât actually watch the replay, honestly, Iâm not even sure they actually record the stuff. its entirely based on reports. you get reported 5 games in a row? Perma ban. youre done. pack your bags. Good luck ever talking to an appeal team.
It is far more games than that, and only a perma if youâve been suspended multiple times before.
So⌠at that point you should be blaming yourself not the game.
