I am on xbox and so not on the PTR, can anyone who is please give me tips on how to play him before his official release?

I haven’t played him too much but I got a few tips kinda. 1. his rocket boosters give you high ground and mobility, but if anyone knows how to hit a target falling(literally) straight down then you’re dead. If they can’t…take as much high ground and jump around as much as you like.
2. His ult is fantastic for teammates and don’t forget you can deploy it from a distance, but feel free to use it for yourself once in a while from high ground.
3. save his immortality field for enemy ults. 4. save your regenerative field for your own healing(like an ana nade but really weak.) That’s really all I’ve got man

Just to elaborate a bit on what FailsAndLuck said.

High ground is your friend, airtime is not.
Meaning, don’t spam his jump in an attempt to avoid damage too much, you will be easier to hit for any1 with half decent aim.
When using it to take high ground, try to time it so you only just make it up to the platform you wish to land on, to minimize the airtime.

His ult is great for boosting some allies damage output. but some heroes gain very little from it. Remember your healing is also amplified, so simply placing it to boost your healing output can be very effective as well.
Learn when/where you will get the most value from it depending on your team comp and situation.

His immortality field can be a great tool to save allies who are about to die, not only from ultimates, but any form of focus fire or burst damage.
It doesn’t have to be used only to save people though. It can also be used to great effect by helping your team control space.

A pro tip : Hide your immortality field out of line of sight for your opponents, under your payload, in a corner, etc.

Ah yes, it can be hidden under more than just the payload as well. any map geometry hovering above the ground will work. :slight_smile:
