Is the point that despite me having less time on the hero I have a better understanding of how they work? Because that sounds very awkward, and isn’t the sort of thing I would bring up if I were trying to argue that I was smarter than everyone else.

There hasn’t been a discussion here, everyone (even multiple troll accounts) have told you to stop playing like an idiot and you’ve said no. So, in conclusion, tell the Bronze players I said hi when you see them.
I’m not refusing to listen to at all, it takes a team effort yes, but Bastion is the main problem I have as Rein, that I can’t do much about, and Reaper is no-one peels.
Bastion is MEANT to be your biggest problem as Rein. Like people have been telling you this entire time. So your choices are:
- stay Rein and creep through houses, corners and high ground until you’re close enough to smash his face in/pin him
OR - swap when you’re countered and counter him back.
Say if you did manage to move, but team mates are still behind, how are they going to get protected from the Bastion?
Wait til your shield regens, put it across the open space, your team runs behind it, you run after them into cover while they heal you. Repeat until close to bastion. If an open space takes longer to get through, pick a different path, and if your teammates want to stand in the open and shoot the bastion’s shield, let them die.
Bastion isn’t really that strong. His damage is quite high but it is easy to take him out of sentry mode. A little hack from Sombra can stop Bastion and disrupt the enemy team.

Ok so ill play ball with your scenario: there are two shield tanks defending bastion. easy, you press H and pick tracer…triple blink past the shields, press q and dump your mag in the bleu weak spot, then safely recall back .
Or
Pick either mei, reaper, hanzo or sombra and simply press Q
Mei: press Q in their general direction
Reaper: shift past shields press Q
Hanzo: press Q in their general direction
Sombra: E over the shield and press Q

If he’s easy why aren’t you a GM Bastion main? Bastion is one of the hardest heroes in the game to get value out of, which is why his pick rate is so low. I play Bastion because shredding people who rush you with no strategy is fun. I play Bastion because he counters tanks. I play Bastion when there’s a Pharah, which was pretty common during the recent 4 hitscan ban.

Not really… I mena they are really strong in situations like your opponent has q minute to attack and you try just to bunker and hold on for 1 minute. But in longer games you just switch to something to cpunger him or plat around him. Not that hard, just dont be like those people that jump rihht into him…

Not the greatest player in the world here, Rein main. Boy has my SR tanked while he’s been banned. Even in gold/Silver bastion isn’t much of a problem. I just let my team know when I’m pushing and when I’m taking cover. Team organization is key. You need to communicate to your team, as well as take the above advice. I’d take bastion over a good tracer/doom any day.
