Blizzard - are there enough EU players to have an EU -English-speaking-only-server?

Dear Team at Bliz-vegas. It’s really difficult to play a game with a huge TEAMWORK component, but some peopel speak no english.

If the player numbers can support it, we REALLY need this.

For all the bad spirits left in this game, most of them are poor comprehension of each other. NOT EVEN SPEAKING THE SAME LANGUAGE is at the heart of many of these problems.

Please let me know what you think.

Mmmmm I’ve played Dota 2 and I gotta say the amount of people who couldn’t/didn’t/weren’t bothered to speak English was much higher. Guess its because Overwatch is not F2P so less Russians?

  • will you punish people on this server, when they dont speak english?
  • who decides if there english is good enough or not?
  • what about the users who dont speak in voice or use text chat…they can be silent “non english speakers”
  • even if there are enough players for an english speaking server, will be the player base of the non english speaker server not to small?

Even if i get your point. I dont belieave that something like this would work.

English is not the first language in Europe, deal with it.

yeah sadly there’s like 1000 language in the EU , it would be really nice to make an english only EU server but don’t think it will happen

I doubt this will ever happen. It will cause more problems in this overly sensitive community.

People would complain about segregation and human rights and equality and blah blah blah then people will want Russian servers, and Spanish, French servers. It would become a mess.

Lets be honest. OW has almost definitely got a bigger playerbase than WoW at this point. EU has entire server lists for different languages…

Less kids who can afford this game. Hence less people from other countries who bad at English. Not Russians specifically.

This will most likely not happen. There is almost no way to monitor players to speak english only and it will probably split the playerbase too much because players might prefer to speak their mother tongue.

If you want to ensure the best quality of communication, I reckon you to either play on an english speaking server or…

Or you learn Russian.
