no one is claiming it isnt. half the people smurfing are only smurfing because the system is flawed. that doesn’t mean they are smurfing in an unranked mode though. im half tempted to buy another one since i have not seen a masters tank in literally 3 weeks.
My recent QP match I had on xbox says otherwise. Unlike on PC, a console user only needs to pay once for a game and can make as many different profiles as he likes.
Still can’t smurf in quick play. MMR doesn’t work like that. It’ll just be someone on a new account leveling up. Or just chilling with quick play.
Having another account isn’t smurfing.
Smurfing is an issue, but blindly labelling people something they are not is a bigger one.
You can smurf in QP.
You can’t, it is near impossible to manipulate your MMR.
Whilst SR, that you can manipulate. Hence why you saw some gold player in T500 games. Because he manipulated his SR, but his MMR was putting him in T500 lobbies.
Just as it is impossible to boost people in QP.
