Have Blizzard now completely evacuated the forums post Overwatch 2?
This was meant to be a new game, a new life to Overwatch development, a new style of gameplay, and lets no forget, a brand new revenue generating system that they can use to leach money from their playerbase (as lets be honest, the BP is woeful, and the items to buy are WAyyy to expensive).
The amount of technical support posts that go unanswered are quite noticeable. Doesn’t appear to be any new dev posts, no community managers responding, no sign of development Q&A.
They don’t look at the US one that much either. I think there were just too many posts in the technical pages that were essentially “user error” it just became a waste of their time.
I had a problem that Overwatch messed with my samsung printer software. Never got any reply to that up to date even though it was a game-breaking error. I bet the error still occurs. (Not sure since i quit Overwatch). Last time it was still there.
The game will start but freeze in the menu already, i have to alt-tab to click OK on the error screen. After that the game starts most of the time. Ow1 never had this. One more reason of many to not play that stupid game.
It’s not… The printer software is installed since years now and never causing problems. But when launching ow2.exe it wants to edit something in the location the printer software is installed. I mean WHY?!
If thats the case, thats pretty poor.
I personally think they have lost all love/creativity for the game and have no idea how to take it forward into the next generation. They are struggling for content.
This game is nothing like LOL or WOW which they excel at.
Their support for the game looked hopeful on the release of OW2 but its just fallen back on itself - again.
The game does have its bugged.
Given the terrible release and lack of support/comms from the Blizzard, there is little doubt that you could be having some issues with it. The quality assurance team must be practically juniours to game testing.
What you think is wrong. If you don’t like the direction that’s fine. It won’t be for everyone but to suggest they’ve lost “all love/creativity” is just mad.
They get input on bugs and things that need fixing elsewhere. The forums are an awful place to guage the health of something.
Just look, how many threads have you seen that say Moira is op… Sometimes they are right to hard ignore the forums.
As for a technical issue, its rare you see an issue posted and go “you know what, that is definitely a blizz problem, they should get on that sharpish”. The ones that are, they’ll no doubt already be on with a fix. But most are external connection problems that blizz can’t do a damn thing about.
Games will always have bugs. Games that are constantly adding and tweaking things even more so. The fact that any bugs that turn up are dealt with so much faster now is a good step forward. And now the Hot Fix system is live, they can literally patch things at the press of a button, no downloading required (as happened with this week’s balance patch)
Because people are allowed opinions, same as you, which is what forums are all about. For people to give their OPINIONS on the game. If you disagree, doesn’t mean it’s not true.
You need to stop thinking you know everything and stop trolling people that disagree. You’re not a Blizzard employee and you don’t know everything.
Indeed they are. And I’ll tell that it is factually incorrect.
Hero balance isn’t a numbers thing. So something is either strong, or it isn’t.
What makes Moira seem strong is the skill of the players around. If they can’t aim, she’ll do well. That doesn’t make her strong. She’s made of glass.
So Moira doesn’t need nerfing. Players struggling against her need skill buffing.
There are only 2 OP heroes right now (Sojourn and Hog), and they are getting changed. Too in both cases, but at least we know it’s happening now. There are a few very strong heroes that might border into OP when those changes are made, we shall see.
Knowing something isn’t trolling. Unless knowledge offends you. Then, I’m sorry you feel that way.
